Our client, a reputable garage in Nairobi seeks to recruit experienced team of Motor Vehicle Cushion Fitters, Spray Painters, and Welders/Fitters
Duties and Responsibilities

Automotive Cushion Fitter
·         Perform general vehicle fitting work. Must be able to work independently on Motor Vehicle Seats; Roof Linings; Door Panels; Office Seats; Sofas etc.
·         The Fitter is responsible for installing and fitting vehicle accessories including vehicle exterior, interior, media and entertainment and security related accessories depending on vehicle type and model. He/she will also fit cushions and chairs.
·         Personal Attributes: An individual on this job requires to work as a part of team and must be able to work long hours. The individual should have good understanding of vehicle accessories.
Automotive Spray Painter
·         In preparation for a painting job, the auto body painter will remove rust and other debris from surfaces to be painted, fill cavities and dents in vehicles to create an even surface, mask or tape off details and components to avoid contamination and select the proper colors and substances for the project. Must be able to work independently and applying all types of Automotive Paints from Duco, Synthetic, Sadocryl, Two Pack and Base Coats
·         Experience with painting in a Spray Booth is important
·         Must be able to complete the whole Spraying process from the time the vehicle has been Panel Beaten ie from sanding; applying Primer; Spot Putty etc. to final Buffing using G3
Automotive Welder/Fitter

·         Must be able to work independently on metal fabrication work using Gas and Arc Welding
·         Hand fitting or machining processes to replace or repair faulty parts
·         Testing batteries and other parts of an engine
·         Checking tyres and exhausts
·         Replacing or repairing faulty parts
·         Balancing and re-aligning wheels
·         Repairing punctures
·         Giving customers advice
Key Requirements and Skills
·         Minimum Government Grade Test III or equivalent Diploma/Certificate
·         At least 3 years’ experience in reputable Garages
·         Experience in motor vehicle repair
·         Technical knowledge
·         Problem-solving skills
·         Ability to use a range of tools
·         Ability to work methodically, paying attention to detail
·         Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
