Qualifications
·         Applicants  must  possess a Master’s  Degree  in  Finance,  Accounting,  Economics,  Commerce, Business Management/Administration  or  its  equivalent  and

·         CPA III
·         9 years working experience 3 of which as Accountant Scale 12 or its equivalent
·         Registered by a recognized professional body in addition to having competence in accounting softwares.
Responsibilities
Reporting  to  the Deputy  Finance  Officer  (Planning  and  Financial  Reporting)successful applicants execute  all  financial  and  operational  activities  in  the  Financial Division  such  as;
·         Supervision of General Ledger postings;
·         End month closing activities; preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements;
·         Reconciliation of and maintenance of the Asset Movement schedule;
·         Preparation of journal vouchers for provisions, depreciations and amortizations;
·         Ensuring compliance with IPSAS/Financial Reporting Frameworks;
·         Management of Donor Fund Accountability Statements;
·         Coordination of external audits and Supervision of all final accounts activities.
Terms of Service
Appointment to the positions will be on contract terms or permanent and pensionable terms subject to successful completion of probation. Benefits include: a contributory pension scheme or payment of gratuity for those on contract terms, medical scheme, generous housing allowance and paid leave among others.
