The successful candidate will report
to the Credit Management Officer and be charged with the following
responsibilities;
Responsibilities
·
Supporting sales teams in negotiation of payment terms.
·
Implementation and continuous review
of the Credit Policy.
·
Assessment of customer credit risk
status as part of the credit
approval process.
·
Ensuring amounts borrowed by
customers are adequately secured.
·
Review and update of customer credit facilities.
·
Development of appropriate strategies
for efficient and cost effective recovery.
·
Effective recovery of non-performing debts,
liaising with service providers.
·
Provision of regular reports on the
recovery status of all debts as well as debtor ratings of business units.
·
Liaison with front line functions to facilitate timely debt collection.
·
Follow up of customer feedback.
Qualifications
·
Upper Second Class degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or related field.
·
Professional qualifications in CPA and Credit Management will be an
added advantage.
·
Minimum of 3 years’ credit management experience in
a financial institution.
·
Thorough knowledge of lending and debt recovery procedures.
·
Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal
skills

Responsibilities

Carrying out routine audit checks and internal
audit assignments at various D&S Group offices.
·
Advising management on internal control and risk
management issues.
·
Ensuring Group policies and
procedures are universally applied
across all business units.
·
Conduct follow up reviews to monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
·
Continuously appraising the company’s Quality Management System.
·
Conducting periodic financial
statements reviews.
·
Providing support in the management of
external audits.
·
Perform any other task that may be assigned by management.
Qualifications
·
Fully qualified CPA(K) or ACCA.
·
Upper Second Class degree in a relevant discipline.
·
Relevant professional qualifications
such as CISA, CIA will be an added advantage.
·
Minimum 3 years‘ combined experience in external and internal audit with reputable
firms.
·
Experience with a Quality Management System and
an ERP System will be an added
advantage.

Responsibilities

Advising on tax matters and ensuring
compliance with the various tax laws.
·
Liaison with various regulatory, and statutory authorities and
agencies.
·
Provide support in filing of various statutory returns.
·
Advising on legal and compliance matters.
·
Provide legal counsel and
representation.
·
Provide support in Company
Secretarial Services.
·
Reviewing and maintaining up to date legal documents.
·
Handling registration, new
legislation and gazetted
matters affecting the company.
Qualifications
·
Upper Second Class degree in Law from a recognized University.
·
Advocate of
the High Court of Kenya with current Practicing Certificate.
·
Membership to the Law Society of Kenya.
·
Fully qualified CPA and member of the
Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, in good standing.
·
Membership to the Institute of
Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya will be an added advantage.
·
Experience in
a busy tax compliance consultancy environment will be a key advantage.
·
At least 4 years‘ experience with exposure
to litigation, contracts law, employment law, tax law.
·
Good computer skills.
