Responsibilities

·         An officer at this level will be closely supervised and guided by the immediate Senior Clerk.

·         The officer will be assigned duties to within the Departments of Legislative and Committee Services while undergoing training in such areas as County Assembly procedure, practices and etiquette and committee administration and management and any other relevant course.
Key Result Areas
·         County Assembly procedure, practice, conventions, tradition and etiquette,
·         Research on fresh information/facts by consulting appropriate sources like documents or persons,
·         Offering administrative services to various County Assembly committees, including the CASBE,

·         Planning and organising the seminars and conferences for members of County Assembly and staff.

Requirements

·         Be in possession of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) grade (C+) and above or equivalent; and
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Political Science Sociology/Economics/Public Administration/Law/Business Administration, Education or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university in Kenya;
·         Proficiency in computer application skills
