Brand & Partnership Manager

Responsibilities

·         To lead cross-functional teams (commercial & operational) by providing vision and direction to ensure the effective delivery of agreed brand activities and programs.

·         Strategically identify key high-level targets; responsible for implementation of our marketing strategies to drive revenue support for event

·         Develop deep expertise of the market place, retail dynamics, consumer and shopper behavior.
·         Drive consistent flawless execution of brand activation plans by ensuring effective implementation of brand strategies and action plans.

·         Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing and Sales team to drive sales, revenue and market share.
·         Monitor business results and measure the effectiveness of plans and initiatives, taking corrective actions if necessary
·         To work with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement brand collateral for our campaigns at during the year.

Qualifications

·         Degree in Marketing/Sales/Business Administration or equivalent qualification
·         Experience as a Brand & Partnership Manager within an FMCG organization is essential
·         Media buying experience and branding expert.
·         Strong Business Development skills
·         Ability to create exciting campaigns.
·         Can do attitude, with the ability to influence and work in a collaborative way
·         Proven implementation ability
·         Proactive anid results driven
·         Good Interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both upwards and downwards

Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

·         Post-deal end-to-end partner management as well as own the P&L impact of each partner, manage product integrations and lead co-marketing efforts with large partners to drive awareness and activations.
·         Communicate (physical visits, email, calls, social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Jumia Food’s product offering
·         Attend restaurant and food conferences
·         Translate partner success requirements to product, marketing and operations teams and drive execution to completion
·         Set, track and report on partner performance metrics
·         Drive partner strategy and engagement based on data-driven findings
·         Lead contract renegotiations to establish a strong working partnership grounded on sustainable economics for both parties
·         Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses

Qualifications

·         You must be comfortable with targeting new restaurants businesses there by having effective communication and a natural flare for sales and friendly personality
·         You must be willing to explore new business models suited to the business and the customers
·         Ability to launch and test new business models and build case studies to prove the viability of the new business

·         You need to be comfortable with data analysis, after all data is your best friend!
·         Able to bring on board relevant partnerships outside of the main core business that can boost customer experience and drive overall growth
·         Experience in digital marketing is a plus and ability to use tools and best practises to drive efficiencies within the business
·         Exemplary communication and negotiation skills whether face to face, through phone or email
·         Ability to persuasively demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients a must
·         Ability to think strategically and merge business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals
·         Knowledge of the restaurant industry a major plus
·         You must be tenacious and self motivated
·         A minimum of 4 years of proven success in business development, partnerships or equivalent role but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
·         Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

·         Ability to work autonomously. Be very organized and communicate well

·         Oversees all company social media accounts management
·         Develops engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
·         Coordinates social media messaging with advertising departments, brand managers, and quarterly or seasonal company goals
·         Manages social media team members, including copywriters and other content creators, by overseeing their work and offering guidance or direction
·         Audits and analyses social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns
·         Analyses social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement
·         Interviews, hires, and trains social media team members
·         Works with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
·         Monitors and develops reports on competitor activity within social media spaces

Qualifications

·         A university graduate with a degree in communication and media or business administration with a specialization in PR, journalism, marketing or a related area of study.
·         Relevant work experience of Over 3 years in a very dynamic and international work environment, Preferably FMCG, tier 1 retail groups, top banking & consulting companies.
·         You can successfully build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and other relevant players.
·         You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills in English.
