Basic Salary Scale: Kshs. 81,000 – 108,000 pm
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Human Capital and Administration Officer,
the Human Capital and Administration Officer I will be responsible for the
following:

Implementing human resource management and administration policies
and strategies;
·
Preparing regular Human Resource and Administration status reports
and agenda for discussion by the Board;
·
Implementing Board’s decisions as regards human resource and
administration matters
·
Preparing and implementing recruitment plans;
·
Preparing and implementing staff training and development plans
·
Monitoring implementation of performance management and appraisal
system;
·
Verifying payment claims and benefits applications such as motor
vehicle loan and mortgages;
Requirements
For appointment to this grade, one must have: –
·
Served for a minimum period of six (6) years as a Human Capital
Management Officer in the public service/private sector or in an equivalent and
relevant position;
·
A bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Human Resource
Management,
·
Bachelors of Commerce (Human Resource option) OR
·
Business Administration/ Business Management/ Degree in any of the
Social Sciences, and a higher Diploma in human resource management/personnel
management from a recognized institution;
·
Attended a senior management course lasting not less than 4 weeks;
·
Valid professional membership with the Institute of Human Resource
Management (IHRM);
·
Certificate in computer applications from a recognized
institution.
