The Position:
Reporting to the Head, Manufacturing, the role holder will be the principal contact between a designated portfolio of Manufacturing Corporate customers and the Bank in order to drive business, manage sector profitability growth and maximize revenue. 


This position will be responsible for the management of Client relationships to deliver products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To implement the Manufacturing Sector Strategy in line with the overall Corporate Banking Strategy; to ensure achievement of profitability targets through revenue maximization and prudent cost management.
  • Drive sustainable growth through the delivery of innovative and customized financial solutions to meet identified customer needs.
  • To build and maintain productive and strategic relations with Customers/ Suppliers/ Line manager/ Stakeholders to drive the development and delivery of business solutions and revenue growth for the Manufacturing sector.
  • Ensure strong cross-selling of existing and new products to existing and new clients; and in this process, maintain effective liaison with all relevant business units in the bank
  • Champion the delivery of consistent, seamless and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
  • Ensure timely submission of quality credit proposals in conformity with the Credit Policy guidelines and requirements.
  • Maintain the quality of assigned portfolio within stipulated Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Portfolio at Risk (PAR) parameters.
  • Ensure timely preparation of relevant reports and daily monitoring of accounts to ensure facilities have accurate interest rates; are within the approved limits, and taking remedial actions in line with policy.
  • Ensure compliance to the Bank’s policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, motivate, and continuously develop a credible high performing team.
The Person:

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
  • University Degree preferably in a Business related field. A Master’s degree or Professional qualifications in a relevant field preferably CPA/ ACCA or AKIB will be an added advantage.
  • Have at least 5 years’ experience in managing a Manufacturing Sector Portfolio with below responsibilities:
  1. Sales
  2. Deal origination and execution of customized financial solutions
  3. Relationship Management and Customer Service
  4. Financial Analysis and Business Performance Management
  5. Product Development and Portfolio Management
  6. Credit Management,
  7.  Transaction Banking & Product Services
  8. Cash Management
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management, Asset Based Financing & Trade Financing
  • Thorough knowledge of Corporate Banking Products & Services with extensive Banking Industry knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to network, generate new business and develop strong business relations.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competences in championing high performance management.
  • A good understanding of Risk, Compliance policies and procedures.

The Position:
Reporting to the Director, Audit, the purpose of the position is to provide strategic leadership to the IS Audit team, develop, maintain and oversee execution of the Information Systems Audits (ISA) Audit plan and provide assurance as needed through the Director Audit to the KCB Bank Board Audit Committee and KCB Bank Senior Management that the controls, by means of which the business is supported and governed on Information systems platforms across the Group, is secure, sufficient, reliable, available, operating effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop, facilitate and monitor the implementation/delivery of the ISA plan, understanding the key audit issues arising and escalating any significant audit findings that remain unresolved.
  • To provide expert advice to the Director Audit.
  • To oversee the control and management of activities of the ISA audit universe or as assigned by the Director Audit.
  • To develop and maintain a robust Bank Information Systems risk assessment process for documenting and communicating the results of the business risk assessment and audit plan/strategy for the business.
  • Work with Credit Treasury Legal Audit (CTLA), Operations Audit (OPSA), Information Risk (IR) and Forensic Services Assurance (FS) teams to achieve a holistic approach to the assessment of risks, development and execution of audit plan/strategy.
The Person:

For the above position, the successful applicant should meet the following criteria:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor credentials.
  • A Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in audit;
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience as an Information Systems Audit Manager.

The Position:
Reporting to the Senior Manager Information Systems Audit, the IS Auditor will give objective and independent assurance over the Information systems in place that the same is appropriate, well utilized, reliable and secure while giving commensurate recommendations on areas of improvement.

In doing so, the IS Auditor will undertake risk assessments and perform internal audit engagements of diverse business units or functions to deliver the audit IS Audit plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide input into the risk assessment performance at the respective audit areas.
  • Be an active team member in undertaking the audit assignments.
  • Performs general and application control reviews for simple to complex computer information systems.
  • Establish and develop effective working relationships with management of business units for which incumbent has risk assessment responsibility.
  • Performs information control reviews to include system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance.
  • Implement the strategic audit plan by performing or supporting, as appropriate, the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established standards and timelines.
  • Provide non-assurance services to business units where required, through participation on advisory engagements / special projects within the Group.
  • Share knowledge, skills and experience with team members to guide and assist in their development.
  • Prepares audit finding memoranda and working papers to ensure that adequate documentation exists to support the completed audit and conclusions.
  • Assists and trains other audit staff in the use of computerized audit techniques, and in developing methods for review and analysis of computerized information systems.
The Person:

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following minimum requirements:-
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor credentials
  • A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • A minimum of 5 years’ IT work experience in infrastructure or channels management; systems development, network and office systems administration.
  • At least 2 years’ work experience in Information systems audits
