Job Title: Van Sales Representative 

Location: Mombasa 

3 Positions 

The VSR is accountable for delivering superior volume, coverage, distribution and In-store presence (Distribution, Pricing, shelving and Merchandising as per standards) in all the VSR stores of your section. 

The VSR reports to the Distributor Extension Manager. 

The positions are in Mombasa 

Principal Accountabilities 
  • Deliver volume, coverage and sales fundamentals targets 
  • Deliver product on a regular basis determined by a delivery plan and set route to a specific set of customers within the agreed window of time. 
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships by providing an efficient, reliable, friendly and courteous service to all customers 
  • Maintain the highest standard of service by maintaining the required supply of stock to ensure a 100% service level with no ‘stock outs’ (Including Merchandising Plano-gram / counting stock / replenish / collect Sale or Return products) to the highest standard. 
  • Communicate effectively with customers and maintain up to date information regarding new initiatives, prices, promotions, new product listings and product de-lists. 
  • Provide information and feedback to the Van Sales Supervisor, on Customer requirements and competitor activity on your route 
You Will Responsible/Accountable For: - 
  • The goods loaded into the back of your van and for accountable for stock take purposes.
  • Targets of the month (volume, distribution) 
  • Bad debts 
  • The correct use of and maintenance of all equipment supplied by the company.
  • Completing all of the “end day” tasks
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
  • Diploma or Certificate in relevant field is an added advantage 
  • Minimum of 3years in sales 
  • A valid Driving License –Class BCE 
  • Good understanding of basic computer skills
  • Demonstrable customer service skills/relationship building
Job Title: National Sales & Distribution Manager 

Location: Nairobi with frequent travels across the country
Hasbah Kenya Limited is the leading Distributor of trusted and quality FMCG brands in the market. 

The Incumbent’s role is to deliver / exceed overall Sales (volume) expectations, market coverage and turn over and is responsible to determine the sales strategy & direction required to achieve the various short & long-term goals and targets. 

He /She MUST have FMCG selling experience. 

Duties & Responsibilities 
  • Own, strive to deliver and surpass the sales volume, distribution, coverage, merchandising & shelving targets for Hasbah Kenya as per the JBP with its stake holders.
  • Spear head sales growth momentum through: quality coverage as per the Go-To-Market Model 
  • Increase direct footprint by direct HQ and/or Branch coverage. 
  • Drive superior visibility and distribution of must sell SKUs – through customer loyalty and repeat purchase programmes 
  • Deliver Best In Class execution via robust in market plans and execute pricing with excellence 
  • Deploy superior selling and reporting tools across all trade channels 
  • Develop a total organization capability glide path by:
1.    Build world-class sales capability. 
2.    Focus on sales fundamentals ensuring in stores shopper based design standards compliance
  • Implement Joint Business Plan aligned with customers: share of shelf; off-shelf displays; share of voice, negotiate for category enhancements 
  • Explore, open and execute the E-Commerce channel as the pillar for business growth 
  • Deliver data based market insights and trends reporting in a quality and timely manner – By Principle/Category/SKU/Region/Channel/Customer 
  • Sales Force Automation National rollout in all channels 
  • Introduce True Score Card with top customers 
  • Lead review of scorecard & sales action plan and monthly reviews 
Qualifications and Skills Desired 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce/Management with a bias in Sales and Marketing; 
  • A minimum of 3 yrs. experience in senior management of National Sales Operations in a company dealing with FMCG and a minimum of 7 yrs. total experience 
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and proficient use of the internet and email; 
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand and process operations data;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 
  • Proven team work and leadership skills, and the ability to successfully build and manage a team and mentor all staff and agents in order to support professional development;
  • Organized, systematic and process oriented with good administrative skills; 
  • Flexible and resourceful; the ability to work under minimal supervision and willingness to be responsible for a varied set of tasks that will support the company’s growth and expansion
