The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya
(ADAK) was established by The Government of Kenya through the Anti-Doping Act
No. 5 of 2016, with its powers vested in a Board, headed by a Chairman.
The key mandate of the Agency is to
carry out Anti-Doping Education / Sensitization Campaigns and Doping Tests.

Duties and responsibilities
(i) Monitoring public perception of
the Agency;
(ii) Implementing media relations
programmes;
(iii) Implementing internal
communications programmes;
(iv) Ensuring adherence to the
corporate brand;
(v) Drafting speeches;
(vi) Arranging corporate functions
and events;
(vii) Preparing corporate publicity
materials;
(viii) Managing social media
platforms;
(ix) Collecting and collating
information for the Agency’s website; and
(x) Implementing Corporate Social
responsibility programmes.
Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, a
candidate must have:-
(i) Bachelors degree in any of the
following disciplines:- Journalism, Mass Communications, Public Relations,
Communication and Media or equivalent qualification from a recognized
institution; and
(ii) Certificate in computer
applications from a recognized institution.
