The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya
(ADAK) was established by The Government of Kenya through the Anti-Doping Act
No. 5 of 2016, with its powers vested in a Board, headed by a Chairman.
The key mandate of the Agency is to
carry out Anti-Doping Education / Sensitization Campaigns and Doping Tests.

Duties and Responsibilities
Processing payment vouchers;
(i) Preparing simple financial
management reports;
(ii) Complying with financial
processes procedures and regulations;
(iii) Carrying out data capture in
the financial system;
(iv) Balancing cashbooks on daily
basis;
(v) Preparing customers and suppliers
records for payment;
(vi) Filing and retrieving of
accountable documents;
(vii) Issuing Withholding and Value
Added Tax certificate to suppliers;
(viii) Submitting Withholding and
Value Added Tax returns to Kenya Revenue Authority;
(ix) Monitoring expenditure based on
approved budgets;
(x) Evaluating and scrutinizing
expenditure proposals; and
(xi) Monitoring expenditure on
programmes on a periodic basis.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a
candidate must have:-
(i)
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Commerce (Accounting
option); Commerce (Finance option); Business Administration (Accounting option)
or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; Plus
A Pass in Part II of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or Part II of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
A Pass in Part II of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or Part II of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
(ii) Be proficient in accounting
packages; and
(iii) Certificate in computer
applications from a recognized institution.
