Aberdare Safari Hotels (ASH)
is a Hotel Management Company with +12 years’ experience that manages two
iconic hotels; Outspan Hotel in Nyeri and Treetops Lodge in the Aberdare National
Park which the company has owned since 1978.
ASH is recruiting young and
dynamic individuals to fill the following positions;
1. Operations Manager – Outspan Nyeri,
reporting to the MD
Will be responsible for both Outspan and Treetops properties and managing 6 operations departments
2. Lodge Manager - Treetops Lodge Nyeri, reporting to the Operations Manager
The Lodge Manager will reside
in the Lodge and will be in charge of the Lodge’s Profit & Loss
responsibility as well lodge operations.

Standards in Rooms, Food Production and Service
- Effective Asset
Care for Facilities (Building, Grounds) and Equipment
- Expenses
Control with monthly Team reviews on
- HR Capacity
& Productivity
- Internal
Controls enhancement
- Legal
compliance
- Stakeholder
relationship management
Qualifications:
- Degree or
Diploma in Hotel Management or related discipline
- At least 6
years’ experience in hotel operations required with 2 years in a senior
leadership role, within a similar hotel capacity
- Experience in
both a Hotel and Lodge establishment is an added advantage
- Experience of
working in a Town Hotel and Lodge setting is an added advantage
- Excellent
Communication and Customer Care Skills
- Strong Skills
in Internal Controls, Risk management and Financial Management
- Computer and
Analytical Skills
- Works well
independently as well as with a team
- Knowledge of a
foreign language is an added advantage
