Job
Summary: Reporting
to the Manager- Corporate Section, responsible for the client retention of the
Strategic Accounts Client Segment by supervising the Account Managers,
coordinating and executing sales plans and strategies to protect the revenue
within the segment.
This
is in order to achieve retention through stickiness in line with company
vision, strategy and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy:
Manage & execute the Strategic Accounts Retention Strategy as set by
the Sales Execution Framework - Goals, Objectives & Activities.
- Assist
in the building of a strong, competitive value proposition for the segment
based on client feedback and segment observations/trends. Work with the
relevant departments on the delivery of this
- Consistent
delivery of the set net revenue target for the client segment with the
right solution mix by managing the team pipeline and forecast/commits
- Set
the tactical direction of the account managers’ activities in the short
and medium term, including:
1.
Account planning for the accounts that present the most growth
opportunity to understand the clients’ businesses and the decision-making
process
2.
Manage the client experience standards by engaging and
collaborating with senior managers across the business that have a direct
impact on the clients’ experiences
3.
Review & implementation of quarterly accountability matrixes
for each account manager
4.
Weekly performance reporting and tracking of the set metrics
- Collaborate
with the Marketing team in executing marketing events
- Set
the direction and tactic for the top 10 deals in pursuit on a monthly
basis
- Responsible
for the recruitment, performance management, development and motivation of
the account managers in the Strategic accounts client segment
Qualifications,
Training and Experience:
- A
degree in Business Administration or related discipline-sales management
and proficiency in Computer packages.
- Post
graduate qualification desirable but not a must.
- Minimum
8 years sales experience
- Working
experience in the Telecommunications and / or IT industry.
