Simba Corp. is opening a new innovative, customer-centric motor-vehicle branch in Westlands, Nairobi, which will provide a unique and differentiated customer experience for three of our automotive brands.

The branch will deliver an exceptional level of seamless Sales and After Sales Service to cater to our customers’ need for convenience and deliver a premium experience; the first of its kind in East Africa.

To blaze the trail in this new frontier, we are looking for two highly skilled, passionate and driven individuals who will be integral in delivering an Exemplary Customer Experience to all who walk through our doors.

Position: Service Manager
 
Location: Westlands Branch
 
Reports to: Head of Branch, Westlands
 
Supervises: Service staff
 
Job Purpose: The role will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operations of the workshop, ensuring that work is well scheduled and that service is carried out to the highest levels of quality in line with Simba Corporation’s policies and standards.
 
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Continuously review of service quality and ensuring effective SOPs are developed and are adhered to;
  • Participate in the preparation of plans and budgets for the service department;
  • Maintain the workshop in line with the required principle and company standards;
  • Responsible for timely ordering of required parts, tools and equipment for the workshop and managing their usage; and
  • Responsible for ensuring the set revenue and profit targets for the workshop are met.
Required qualifications and experience:
  • Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering with a bias in Motor Vehicles or related field;
  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience; and
  • At least 3 years’ management experience.

Position: Head of Branch, Westlands
 
Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
 
Supervises: Branch staff
 
Job Purpose: The role will oversee the operations of the branch, ensuring achievement of the sales and aftersales targets and that customer relations are continuously enhanced.
 
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Provide overall leadership for the branch including managing all related staff matters;
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets in conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer, General Manager Group Sales and the respective Brand Managers;
  • Overall responsibility for managing the sales team at the branch to achieve their targets;
  • Oversee the Service and Parts operations, ensuring all are meeting brand/CI standards, in close liaison with the relevant heads of the functions at Head Office;
  • Ensure all staff deliver top notch customer service; and
  • Serve as the branch’s key company spokesperson and thus host key visitors and customers coming to the branch.
Required qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree - in Business Administration, Marketing or related field;
  • Member of a recognized professional body;
  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience; and
  • At least 3 years’ management experience.
