Senior Registrar – Anaesthetists

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Medical Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Providing sedation and anaesthesia for patients undergoing various procedures.
  • Ensuring seamless interfaces between Department of Anaesthesia and other departments.
  • Undertaking clinical procedures and examinations.
  • Ensuring high standards of evidence based clinical practice.
  • Championing continuous quality improvement in clinical practice and service delivery through various programs.
  • Spearheading research and development.
  • Participating in Continuous Medical Education fora.
  • Championing team practice and participating in family conference.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Masters of Medicine in Anaesthesia.
  • Registration by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board.
  • Valid private practice and annual licenses.
  • Possess professional indemnity.
  • Sound diagnostic skills and judgment.
  • Detail orientated.
Housekeeper

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head, Support Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following amongst others:-
  • Coordinating daily housekeeping activities in clinical areas, public areas, offices and waiting areas.
  • Ensuring implementation and maintenance of Service Level Agreement for outsourced cleaning services.
  • Facilitating the organization and assignment of outsourced staff to ensure adequate 24 hour cover.
  • Ensuring cost effective use of housekeeping supplies.
  • Conducting routine and ad hoc inspections in the designated areas.
  • Vetting the deployment and scheduling of outsourced housekeeping staff at the Hospital.
  • Ensuring all housekeeping staff are adequately trained on hospital standards and customer service.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Diploma in Laundry and Housekeeping.
  • 5 years’ work in a busy hospital or hotel, 3 of which should be at supervisory level.
  • Excellent planning and organising skills.

Internal Auditor

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Preparing and implementing annual audit plans.
  • Undertaking special audit investigations as may be required from time to time.
  • Preparing audit reports and developing recommendations to address arising audit concerns.
  • Monitoring the implementation of agreed actions and initiating remedial actions where needed.
  • Testing and appraising accounting, financial and other operating controls for soundness and adequacy.
  • Reviewing operations against business and strategic plans to determine consistency.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Business degree.
  • CPA (K) or ACCA.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of IFRS and Auditing standards.
  • CISA certification will be an added advantage.
  • 4 years continuous internal audit experience.
  • Analytical skills.
  • High integrity.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
