Oasis Specialist Hospital is currently looking for qualified and dedicated individuals to fill the following vacancies:

Job Title: 
Chief Administrator
 
Location: Kisii Region
 
Work Type: Contract Renewable

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To ensure that the strategic, business objectives and values of Oasis Healthcare in the region.
  • To develop and implement standard operating systems (SOPs) for all the departments under operations.
  • Responsible for implementing and achieving the departmental policies, objectives and operational procedures through department Heads.
  • Review, monitor, and revise policies and procedures in coordination with the management.
  • To develop business plans and specify individual staff target to pave way for achieving the overall departmental objectives and targets.
  • To develop key operational metrics to improve the efficiency and turnaround time.
  • To anticipate bottlenecks in the departmental operations and put in place back-up plans.
  • To religiously work on cost control, without compromising on service and quality.
  • Ensure that regular meetings are held with the concerned consultants, functional heads and staffs to review the daily functioning of the hospital and obtain feedbacks and put necessary corrective strategies in the action plan.
  • To build strong employee / patient / hospital / doctor relationship.
  • Ensure that the service offered far exceeds the guest’s expectations.
  • Overall responsible for patient / attendee satisfaction across the assigned verticals and ensure that all guests complaints are handled promptly and effectively.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of Degree in business administration, Human Resource Management, Planning, Social Sciences or any related field (e.g. health related field, with administrative experience)
  • Minimum C+ KCSE score
  • Must be proficient in computer applications
  • Possess a high level business acumen and ability to display orientation to market dynamics
  • Possess good analytical skills
  • Proven Leadership skills, , and ability to build personal relationships with other members of staff, to enhance corporate performance
  • Ability to prepare and keep budgets.
 Job Title: ICT Officer
 
Location: Kisii
 
Work Type: Contract Renewable

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Configure and deploy new and refurbished workstations, laptops and peripheral equipment.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, update and maintain workstations and laptops.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot printers/copiers as well as manage toner requests.
  • Monitor network to ensure network functionality and availability to all system users.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cabled, wireless and other network infrastructure.
  • Support existing/new server/s and administer access rights for all users in the office.
  • Provide software and system troubleshooting and support.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and update operating systems and user applications.
  • Proactively schedule software upgrades and patching.
  • Track license and support contracts to include notification of renewal timeframe to management.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum3 years of relevant experience within the ICT technical field
  • Effective written and oral communication with ability to produce reports and present solutions
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or higher within information technology.
  • Professional knowledge of network technologies and Windows clients
  • Experience in handling servers and related access management control
  • Ability to work independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify
  • and isolate technical issues
  • Willing to take ownership of issue analysis and resolution efforts and commit to 'doing what it takes' to resolve technical issues regardless of the effort or timeframe required
Job Title: Pharmacist (Re Advertised)
 
Location: Kisii
 
Work Type: 3 Months Contract 

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Provide advice for non-prescription medications
  • Monitor drugs and other medical supplies levels and initiate the procurement process.
  • Take inventory and track medication and supply orders
  • Keep records of all drug stocks ordered, drugs issued to clients and stocks remaining.
  • Arrange drugs in the required manner
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with customers which includes clinics, doctors, and other institutions
  • Monitor storage conditions i.e. expiry status and security of the pharmaceuticals
Job Requirements:
  • Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poison Board
  • Degree/ Diploma holder from a recognized institution.
  • Original Professional and academic certificates with up to date license
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a similar position
  • Good customer care skills
