Works is recruiting a Reservations Sales Rep for
one of our clients; a leading hotel in Nyeri.
Job
Purpose: To
play a leading role in generating revenue for the hotel.
Duties
- Research,
Identify and secure new clients or marketing opportunities
- Create
and maintain reservation records by date of arrival and alphabetical
listing.
- Prepare
letters of confirmation.
- Communicates
reservation information to the front desk.
- Track
future room availabilities on the basis of reservations.
- Following
up on client orders and escalate any bottle necks being experienced.
- Cold
calling to arrange for meetings with potential clients to prospect for new
business.
- Getting
information about areas of interest in order to target more clients in
particular seasons.
- Making
arrangements for clients travel programs.
- Configuring
rates on the hotels property management system.
Skills
Required
- Customer
Service / Communication Skills.
- Confident
and Presentable.
- Problem-Solving
Skills Experience.
Experience
- At
least one year experience in a similar role.
- Experience
in Hotel reservations and sales and functionalities will be an added
advantage.
Education: Diploma or degree in a
Business related course, Hospitality or Sales.
