Account Manager - FinTech

Empire Microsystems Ltd is recruiting an Account Manager to promote the company’s financial technology solutions. 

The role will involve developing strong relationships with key players, generating new leads through contacts, presentations & workshops, and taking those leads through the sales process and pipeline. The Account Manager will report to the Head of FinTech.
The role: A client-facing, new-business role where one will perform the full sales cycle for disruptive financial technology solutions to identified accounts.

The acquisition of new business from existing market segments, targeting enterprise clients with high volumes of transactions.

Expanding the solutions sell capabilities beyond the merchant payments and micro-lending service verticals into broader C2B, B2C & B2B flows such as distribution, insurance etc.

As part of a rapidly growing company, this role is expected to evolve significantly over time. 

You will be encouraged to pick up new responsibilities and embrace opportunities as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development –
 Promote Empire Solutions at local conferences and events. Contribute to development of marketing content, from email campaigns and blog posts to longer pieces such as reports and case studies. The goal is to continuously re-iterate Empire’s status as a pioneer in financial  technology  and leader in the sector

Sales -
 Manage the  lead  generation  process, taking prospects  from their first contact  through to contract  signing. This will involve  following  up  with  all  new  leads,  maintaining  existing  leads, understanding customer requirements, responding to RFPs, giving system demos and producing the monthly sales analytics & reports.

Post Sales Account Management –
 Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to ensure timely and successful delivery of the company solutions according to customer needs and objectives. The goal is to operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your allocated customers and you’ll actively arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

Experience required:
  • 4+ year’s relevant industry experience selling technology solutions to the financial services, insurance, distribution as well as other industry verticals.
  • Proven competence in communicating technology service concepts to key decision makers.
  • Experience in formulating and driving long-term strategic account plans and roadmaps
  • Proven experience in developing compelling propositions for new clients and establishing effective commercial relationships with channel and strategic partners.
  • Digital payments and/or financial services industry understanding and expertise.
