Vacancy: Senior Consultant and Project Manager
Role Overview: The job holder is responsible for development of Consultancy Business and delivery of specialist ICT consultancy services including the provision of expert technical advice, project support and assistance on issues relating to the company’s consultancy product Offerings.
He or she will also be responsible for Project management for any projects that
are being carried out by the companyRole Overview: The job holder is responsible for development of Consultancy Business and delivery of specialist ICT consultancy services including the provision of expert technical advice, project support and assistance on issues relating to the company’s consultancy product Offerings.
Product Development:
- Development and growth of the consultancy
product line.
- Introduction and realization of consultancy
product line in the large corporate accounts.
- Continuous improvement of organizations
delivery methodologies
- Continuous development and improvement of
project templates
- Assist in the presales process through
identifying and responding to consultancy tenders.
- Marketing the activities of the organization
to potential customers.
Project Management and Execution:
- Ensure that all projects executed by the
company follow and adhere to the organizations project management
methodology
- Manage and co-ordinate project resources to
ensure projects are executed systematically and auditable
- Work very closely with staff to ensure all
projects are under control, up to date and well managed
- Ensure project meetings & project
governance are in place and constantly managed
- Manage client expectations
Project Documentation and Reporting
- Develop and update Quality project documents
as per the organizations project methodology.
- Ensure each project has a project site on the
e-Momentum’s project management software
- Ensure that project sites are updated and
documents updated therein are representative of actual project progress on
site
Team development
- Mentor and train junior staff on project
management best practices and new trends in ICT
Personal Development
- Research and share best project management
practices and new trends in ICT.
- Attend trainings
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or related
field
- 4 years’ experience in the IT industry
- Project Management Certification
- Experience in the establishment, review and
continuous improvement of an ICT environment.
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to liaise and communicate
effectively with a range of business and ICT stakeholders, utilizing a
high level of written and verbal skills to establish and maintain strong
and productive working relationships.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet
deadlines and prioritize workloads.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking
ICT projects and providing ICT solution design services that align with
organizational objectives and business requirements
- Demonstrated experience in identifying
technical issues, thinking laterally and applying analytical skills to
develop appropriate options for resolution.
- Significant experience in the provision of
specialist technical advice, support and assistance within an information
technology environment covering many ICT technologies and environments.
- Proven ability to integrate technical,
environmental and human aspects of projects and/or solution design
activities, and balance conflicting requirements on a wide range of
platforms and technologies.
- Meticulous approach to work
