Our client is an Oil Marketing Company based in Kenya and licensed to import and export petroleum products as well as sell them wholesale. 

Currently selling in the local market and transiting to Congo and South Sudan, the company is now expanding its operations in to Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania.
 
The Company is looking for dynamic individuals to fill the below positions;
 
Job Title:
 Accountant

Department:
 Finance

Reports To:
 Operations Manager


Positions: 3 – in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania

Primary Responsibilities
  • Post all purchases and sales.
  • Prepare and present daily sales reports
  • Manage petty cash.
  • Prepare and make all bank payments.
  • Vouch all payments and ensure they are properly filled with complete support documents
  • Do bank and petty cash reconciliation
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • A degree in Commerce, Business Administration or Economics or an equivalent.
  • Ability to collect and collate market data
  • Ability to meet targets with minimum supervision
  • Excellent communication, public relations and report writing skills
  • Professional qualification in accounts with strong quantitative and analytical skills will be an added advantage

Job Title: Business Developer

Reports To:
 Group Operations Manager

Positions:
 4 – In Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda

Job Summary: Provide leadership and coordination of company activities in the various countries. 

Giving direction to the team in penetrating the market and expanding to new markets or products, with a view to increasing company’s bottom line and market share.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Creating and growing a customer base.
  • Source for fuel products in the market
  • Establish networks and market fuel products
  • Responsible for company stocks.
  • Realization of the monthly targets.
  • Preparation of monthly management reports.
  • Reviewing contracts entered into by the company which facilitate operations.
  • Represent the company in the industry meetings and creating a good rapport with stake holders.
  • Appropriate administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison with management in actualization of set targets.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution, formidable creative, quantitative, and analytical skills. 
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
  • Experience in planning marketing strategies and successful public relations efforts.
  • Ability to motivate teams to provide efficient services.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and business modeling.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or Engineering from a reputable university. 
  • A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or accounting background will be an added advantage.
  • Two years of experience in supply, operations, accounting or marketing department.
  • Based in the country or willing to relocate to the country one is applying for.
