Recruitment for Monitors and Evaluators Under TVET ACT, 2013
The Technical and Vocational
Education and Training Authority (TVETA) is a State Corporation established
under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Act,
2013.
The core mandate of the Authority is
to regulate TVET sector to ensure access to quality and relevant training
provided in registered TVET institutions.
Please note this is not a permanent
position.
Duties and responsibilities of Monitors and Evaluators are as stated in section 34, subsections 2 and 3.
Requirements for appointment
A person shall be qualified for
appointment as an evaluator and monitor for the Authority if such a person: -
(a) Is a Kenyan citizen
(b) Holds at least a degree (or
equivalent) in Medical related fields, Applied Sciences, Institutional
Management, Agriculture, Engineering or Technology, Media studies, Sports
studies, Construction, Legal studies, information sciences , Security studies,
Music and Performing Arts, Business related studies, Information Communication
Technology, Hair Dressing and Beauty Therapy or any other relevant area from an
institution recognized in Kenya
(c) Has knowledge and working
experience of at least ten years as a trainer or practitioner in the areas
stated in (b) above.
(d) Is a member of a relevant
professional body and possession of Competency based Trainers skills,
Monitoring & evaluation and Quality Audit inspection certification will be
an added advantage
Applications, together with detailed Curriculum Vitae and certified Copies of academic and professional Certificates, National Identification Card or Passport, and Clearance from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board(HELB), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
