The complex is home to over 150
outlets covering 210,000 square feet of retail space, 20,000 square feet of
office space in addition to a recreation facility.
The Tenant Co-ordinator will be a well-spoken, tenacious member who shall take charge of co-ordinating all matters related to tenants from initial approvals, plans to working with contractors for fit-out sourcing for prospective tenants to ensuring deadlines for completion of work are met to ensure both client and business unit satisfaction.
Job Profile;
- To coordinate between tenant, landlord and
architects to get the space ready to everyone's satisfaction and on time
- Facilitate tenant openings to ensure that
tenants open without delay.
- Ensure tenant choice of contractor is
acceptable by landlord.
- Anticipate issues/ problems by analyzing the
necessary timelines for plans, construction, coordination of exiting
tenants, etc and prevent delays by escalating/ resolving the issues before
they cause a delay in delivery or opening.
- Ensure deadlines for fitout are met by
pressuring tenant and contractor but in a sensitive manner
- Be a relationship officer and a go between the
landlord and tenant
- Monitor deals to ensure that any delivery
dates required by a lease with penalties are not missed. This includes
monitoring in process deals and escalating any deal that is in danger of
missing the delivery date and proposing solutions to ensure the delivery
date is met.
- Identify opportunities to improve / correct/
remove language contained in previously negotiated leases that inhibit
timely openings or place the company at risk for loss.
- Recognize issues that have a material impact
on the company and bring them to the attention of the Manager with
suggested solutions as applicable.
- Assist tenants (especially those with little
or no construction experience) through the build out process.
- Ensures department and corporate guidelines
are followed to ensure audit compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Background, Experience,
Competencies and Skills;
- Technical/design background though not
necessary to be an architect/interior decorator
- Ability to be persistent and meet deadline
whilst ensuring tenant and landlord satisfaction
- Sensitive to client/contractor needs but able
to ensure time sensitive deadlines for fit-out are met
- A warm people person who loves to talk to
people and explain details.
- Customer and personal selling skills.

office space in addition to a recreation facility.
They are undergoing an expansion
program and are seeking an experienced Leasing Manager.
The Leasing Manager will be a well-spoken, self-starter member with international leasing exposure / experience who shall take charge of sourcing for prospective tenants, managing the full process and coordinating all processes/systems involved.
The Key responsibilities will be to;
The Leasing Manager will be a well-spoken, self-starter member with international leasing exposure / experience who shall take charge of sourcing for prospective tenants, managing the full process and coordinating all processes/systems involved.
The Key responsibilities will be to;
- Identify and generate prospects that lead to
new clients.
- Manages and directs the daily activities of
the leasing operations department in accordance with organization policies
and standards.
- Responsible for all leasing functions, which
may include reviewing and negotiating lease transactions and agreements.
- Oversees completion of all necessary paperwork
and ensures excellent customer service.
- Responsible for the productivity and budgetary
performance of the leasing operations department.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures
to improve efficiency and profitability of the department.
Report to the Managing Director.
Desired Education Background, Experience, Competencies and Skills;
- Leasing commercial retail space experience
with solid results preferably in the retail market.
- A relevant university Degree is desirable but
not a must.
- Competency in computer operations.
- Excellent administration and management
skills, knowledge of business and sales principles of leasing to
international and local clients
- Customer and personal selling skills, able to
quickly identify customer needs, meet quality standards for services and
evaluate customer satisfaction.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's
concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is
expected.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
