looking for Head of Fire Business to market their products.
Job Title: Business Development Manager - Fire
Location: Kenya
Industry: Information and Technology
The candidate will be in charge of
maximizing sales of fire equipments.
The ideal candidate should have good
knowledge of selling fire alarm system, fire suppression system, smoke
detection system, emergency power management system and integrated voice
evacuation system.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Acquire new business and deepen existing
client relationships for the company's target market.
- Enhances staff accomplishments and competence
by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural
questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes;
mentoring team members.
- Identifies business opportunities by
identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry;
researching and analyzing sales options.
- Sells products by establishing contact and
developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
- Maintains relationships with clients by
providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending
new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Identifies product improvements or new
products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and
competitors.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and
summarizing information.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and
enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge
by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices;
participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing
related results as needed.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Sales and Marketing or
Business related field, Masters Degree will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years experience preferably from
related field
- Computer Proficiency: MS Office Applications
(Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
- Should have proven integrity and leadership
skills
- Strong negotiations and persuasion and
communication skills

knowledge of selling copper and fibre networks, building management systems,
fire detection, audio systems and security systems.
Key Tasks and
Responsibilities
- Define and follow up of yearly Company targets
and objectives.
- To undertake relationship management by
building partners, marketing and brand positioning of organization.
- Differentiate the Company from
competitors.
- Develop and implement strategies for new
products and services post approval from the Board.
- Develop and manage marketing tools and
collateral for existing and new clients.
- Report Monthly business review &
individual target achievement to the management team & head
office.
- Potential Clients identification &
subsequently finalizing the layout / strategy of marketing the
services.
- Maximize the business value, ensuring
efficient proposals are provided which meet business requirement.
Qualifications and Competences
- Must have a Degree/ Diploma in a Business
Administration/Marketing/B-com/Business related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in corporate sales
and new business development.
- Candidates with Information Technology Sales
experience would be preferable.
- Should be presentable, have the ability to
connect with clients and should work under minimum supervision.
