Accounts Assistant and Stock Accountant Jobs in Nairobi Kenya

A local Company is looking for Muslims to work as a Sales Accounts Assistant and a Stock Accountant. 

The posts are based in Nairobi and the following are the duties the two officers;

Sales Accountant

·                     Producing invoices
·                     Generating sales reports
·                     Ensure customer credit limit is adhered to
·                     Generate credit note for overcharged customers
·                     Generate Debit notes for Undercharged customers
·                     Co-ordinate  deliveries
·                     Running off turnover statements
·                     Sorting out any rebates and filing
·                     Ensure correct pricing on the generated Invoices
·                     Checking VAT has been included on invoices
·                     Providing creditors with VAT receipts
·                     Other administrative duties
Stock Accountant
·                     Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment: Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer.
·                     Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
·                     Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
·                     Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost.
·                     Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
·                     Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
·                     May operate office machines, such as typewriter or calculator.
·                     May stock and issue materials or merchandise.
·                     Prepare daily reports on stock movement 
Experience: 3 years experience in Accounts Department.

Qualifications:
·                     A CPA Part II or above
·                     Degree in business related or accounts preferred
