Responsibilities:
1.
Corporate Office
- Serve
as the Group CEO’s primary point of contact for internal and external
constituencies, and also serve as a liaison to the rest of the executive
leadership.
- Coordinate
the GCEO’s activities including operational, board and philanthropic
engagements
- Monitor
and manage current and upcoming commitments by and to the GCEO
- Attend
selected meetings with the GCEO and capture the action points and follow
through
- Attend
certain meetings, on behalf of the GCEO, with partners and stakeholders,
local or international
- Oversee
the PA in facilitating the GCEO’s meetings & travel, including
assuring all travel-related documents & logistics
2. Business Development
- Prepare
briefs on any new business prospect before any meetings
- Plan,
coordinate and ensure the GCEO's schedule is practical
- Follow
up on actions and commitments made by the GCEO in regards to Business
Development
- Track
the progress of identified networks / business development contacts
3. Venture Development, Strategic Partnerships & Networking
- Researches
and provides reports to the GCEO and other EDs, on client and venture
related issues
- Prepare
concept papers and business cases for new business ventures where
applicable
- Follow
through on MOUs between partners to ensure completion of the process
- Manage
correspondence between the GCEO and strategic partners
- Monitor
the strategic partnership process flow actions & status
4. Corporate Affairs & Legal
- Assist
in preparing information to the Board and Management
- Respond
to requests for information regarding the GCEO and the organization in
General
- Assist
GCEO in engagements with authorities, stakeholders and the public
- Ensure
the company’s legal compliance and intellectual property protection in all
engagements and operations
5. Brand & Culture
- Support
the group’s corporate citizenship and CSI initiatives
- Provide
support to ensure group’s internal brand is managed and lived
- Ensure
the GCEO’s bio and online presence is kept current and relevant
- Manage
the GCEO’s talks and writing engagements and oversee his personal brand in
general
Qualification:
- University
degree in a relevant subject in Commerce/Business Administration
- Legal
Training and experience an Advantage
- Professional
business training
Competencies:
- MUST
posses high emotional intelligence and resilience
- MUST
be highly discreet as a person and in handling confidential information
- MUST
be able to travel and to generally handle unpredictable hours
- Proficient
communicator at all levels, both verbal and written.
- Proactive
approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- High
comfort level working in a diverse environment
- Possess
top-level interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills
