communities in areas where livestock is of importance.
With support in animal health, agriculture, marketing, food safety but also with developing the capacity of communities and governmental institutions or initiating peace and conflict resolution we work towards food security and strengthened livelihoods of pastoralist communities.
VSF Germany seeks to recruit a qualified and well experiencedProgramme Assistant.
The
position’s overall responsibilities will be supporting the Programme Department
in the Regional office.
Key Responsibilities:

- Support
the proposal and report writing for current and future projects.
- Represent
VSFG in technical and coordination meetings as agreed with the line
manager
- Support
the information flow/communication among VSFG departments in the Regional
office
- Participate
to field mission as planned and agreed with the line manager
- Support
collection and entry of data from the projects in the region
- Develop
a system for filing paper copies of records and copies of query reports
and other activity reports.
- Submit
monthly reports to the Line Manager.
- Any
other duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications, Experience, Attributes & Skills Required
- Bachelor
degree in Agriculture, Social Science, International Development fields
- Good
ability to work in team and interest in learning
- Ability
to plan, organize and prioritize.
- Excellent
command of English both oral & written
- Ability
to travel on short term assignment to remote project locations
- Quick
learner
