Summary: A leading group of companies is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Group Administration Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Group through translation of corporate goals into departmental and individual goals.
  • Provide effective leadership to the line managers reporting to this position and ensure that seamless provision of service.
  • Develop systems and document procedures that will aide in management of the department and its various facets.
  • Ensure that the work environment for all Group premises is healthy and safe for members of staff and that all safety procedures are adhered to in accordance with statutory requirements, with a view to prevent workplace injuries.
  • Ensure that all relevant licenses are procured, valid and publicly appropriately displayed as required.
  • Prepare the departmental budget, monitor its utilization to ensure effective use of resources and submit monthly financial summary for the department.
  • Ensure that all the properties within the Group portfolio are well maintained and kept in good repair.
  • Administratively coordinate all legal matters in liaison with the Groups’ directors
  • Liaise with HR in assessing departmental staffing needs and participate in the recruitment of all the staff in the department and ensure that departmental staff have accurate and current job descriptions.
  • Identify the training needs in the department and liaise with HR for the necessary programs.
  • Assess performance of departmental staff against agreed objectives and follow through the appraisal results as required. 
  • Perform any other duties as may be required.

  • Excellent  communication, organization, leadership and multi tasking skills
  • Proficient in standard office software applications
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Accounting or Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years Experience 5 of which must be in middle level management.
