Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage all day to day operational aspects of the business
- This is a senior position and requires a mature & dedicated individual
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Position reports to the General Manager
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or any business related field.
- Should have worked in an Operations Department of a busy organization preferably construction.
- Working minimum experience of between 7-10 years.
- Computer Literate.
- Must possess good people management skills and Interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the construction Industry will be an added advantage
Chief Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Distributes monthly comparison reports and cost center reports according to schedules.
- Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
- Analyze transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved.
- Closely maintains and monitors the fixed assets system.
- Adheres to internal and external deadlines.
- Assist with annual budgets - prepares all allocations;
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field.
- Minimum CPA K.
- Working minimum experience of between 7-10 years in a busy organization
- Conversant with all accounting packages
- Experience in Auditing will be an added advantage.
Office Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Managing filing systems;
- Developing and implementing new administrative systems, such as record management;
- Recording office expenditure and managing the budget;
- Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs;
- Organizing MD’s diary
- Overseeing the recruitment of new staff, sometimes including training and induction;
- Carrying out staff appraisals, managing performance and disciplining staff;
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- Diploma in Human Resource Management /Administration.
- Minimum working experience of between 5-7 years in a busy organization.
- Computer Literate.
Accounts Assistant (2)
Responsibilities:
- Bank posting and reconciliations
- Credit Control - letters, telephone calls, e-mails, dealing with call in enquiries
- VAT returns
- Adhoc administration duties
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field.
- Minimum CPA Part II
- Knowledge of accounting applications — QuickBooks is a must.
- Minimum working experience of between 3-6 years in a busy organization
Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information,
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field,
- Minimum CPA K.
- Working minimum experience of between 5-7 years in a busy organization,
- Conversant with all accounting packages.
- Experience in Auditing will be an added advantage
Site Agent
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operations of site work
- Identify any problems with onsite work activities and providing a solution
- Make sure Health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Ensure project stays within the budget
- Monitor the progress on site
- Make sure material gets ordered and delivered
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Must be a registered Engineer with ERB
- Minimum working experience of between 7-10 years in a busy organization.
- Must have worked with a civil construction company for not less than 3 years.
Asphalt Plant Mechanic
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of plant machinery
- Any other duties allocated
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- A working experience of between 7-10 Years.
- Must have managed an Asphalt plant for a minimum of
- Years.
- Should be conversant with Asphalt Production & Asphalt Plant Maintenance.
- Must be Computer Literate.
Quarry Manager
Responsibilities:
- Checking that the quarry’s production levels are maintained safely to schedule;
- Balancing demand and output;
- Altering the quarry’s production system in accordance with the materials required;
- Performance managing the production process and setting and monitoring targets;
- Providing the management with information and statistics on the quarry’s performance;
- Developing links with local groups and organizations;
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or any relevant field.
- Working experience of 10 Years and above.
- Must have managed a busy crusher for a minimum of 7 years.
- Must have managed a busy Asphalt plant for a minimum of 5 Years.
- Must possess good people management skills and interpersonal skills.
- Mechanical Experience will be an added advantage.
Transport Officer
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Transport policy approved by the management.
- Propose improvements in the existing transport system.
- Ensure that the maintenance, oiling and servicing schedule of the vehicles is followed.
- Keep records/ history of drivers and accidents.
- Maintain duty roasters of drivers, turn boys and mechanics.
- Arrange for re-training and re-certification of drivers and registration and re- certifications of vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field.
- Must have served in a similar capacity for a minimum of 5 years.
- Must have managed a fleet of not less than 50 Vehicles and Machinery for the same period.
- Fuel management experience is mandatory
Plant Electrician
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of plant electrical
- Any other duties allocated
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Asphalt plant electrical maintenance experience preferred
- Working experience of between 7-10 Years.
- Must have managed an Asphalt plant for a minimum of
- Years as an Electrician.
- Should be conversant with Asphalt Production & Asphalt Plant electrician Maintenance.
- Must be Computer Literate.
