Chemonics

firm, seeks experienced, senior level specialists for the anticipated
USAID-funded Agile and Harmonized Assistance to Devolved Institutions (AHADI)
project in Kenya.
1)
provide higher quality services through improved governance at the county
level;
2)
improve representation of citizen interests and oversight of targeted County
government performance; and
3)
increase the functionality and effectiveness of the devolved system though
improved intra-government and engagement.
Specific areas of expertise include: civil society and legislative strengthening, civic education, administrative, fiscal and political decentralization, and strengthening public financial management systems.

Chief of Party
- Minimum 15 years
experience in project management
- Minimum 10 years
working in international development with progressively greater
responsibility, minimum 5 years working in governance
- Advanced degree
in international affairs, economic development, public management, or related
field, OR an additional 5 years work experience
Deputy Chief of Party
- Minimum 8 years
experience in project management
- Minimum 5 years
working in international development, minimum 2 years working in
governance
- Bachelor’s
degree in international affairs, economic development, public management,
or related field
Finance Manager
- Minimum 8 years
experience in financial management
- Minimum 5 years
working in international development
- Bachelor’s
degree in business, accounting, finance or a related field
Grants Manager
- Minimum 5 years
experience in managing large grants facilities
- Minimum 3 years
working in international development
- Bachelor’s
degree in business, management, international affairs or a related field
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist
- Minimum 5 years
experience in written communications and M&E
- Bachelor’s
degree in international affairs, data management, journalism, public
management or a related field
- Minimum 3 years
working in international development
- Bachelor’s
degree in international affairs, economic development, public management
or related field
All
candidates must possess English fluency, Kiswahili preferred.
Experience
in Kenya or East Africa, preferred.
