Our client is a firm
in the Transport sector and is looking for aWorkshop Manager
Gross Salary: 60K
The preferred candidate will be responsible for;- Streamlining
workshop operations while ensuring high standards, compliance and
maintaining profitability of the garage.
- Allocating
tasks to staff, introducing a time management structure to minimize loss
of time and ensure increased productivity.
- Responsible
for co-coordinating the cost effective procurement of all spare parts from
suppliers, controlling inventories of spare parts and other workshop
supplies.
Qualifications and Experience
The preferred
candidate is a qualified mechanic with:
- A
minimum of a Higher National Diploma in mechanical or automobile
engineering.
- Good
Communication Skills, Teamwork skills and analytical Skills.
- Knowledge
in MS office.
- A
minimum of three years in a similar position in a busy workshop.
- Should
have very good managerial skills.
