size country-wide Sacco Society based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a
qualified Kenya Citizen to fill the following positions:-
Chief Manager – Operations Grade M4
Job Summary
Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for planning, co-ordination, and guiding departmental heads in implementing the Sacco’s strategic objectives and policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To
co-ordinate proper utilization of SACCO Resources including, Personnel,
Assets, and Information/Communication & Technology.
- Ensure
proper planning of Sacco activities at departmental level and utilize the
plans to develop a master plan for both short and long term activities of
the Sacco.
- To
co-ordinate preparation of departmental budgets.
- Develop
and implement innovative ventures that are profitable to the Sacco.
- To
oversee member recruitment activities and review of innovative products
and services.
- Co-ordinate
activities of the Sacco and ensure proper targets and standards are set
and achieved at every level of operation.
- To deal
with Human Resource and administrative issues in the Sacco.
- Ensure
monitoring and evaluation of the Sacco’s Strategic Management Plan.
- Any
other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
Interested candidates with the following qualifications can apply:
- Bachelor
of commerce ( Finance/Banking) OR Bachelor of Business Administration OR
B.A Economics, or equivalent
- Possession
CPA III/CPS III.
- Possession
of MBA will be an added advantage.
- Five
years relevant experience at a management level in a Sacco or Financial
institution.(Micro-Finance).
- Computer
literacy
- Minimum
age 30 years
Loans Manager – Grade M10
Job Summary
Responsible to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer-Operations for the Lending Operations, Marketing, Collection and ensuring credit compliance with the regulations, policies and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To
co-ordinate credit operations in the SACCO both regular and micro-credit
loans.
- To
manage the analysis of applicants financial status, credit, and property
evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
- To
obtain and compile loan applicants credit histories, corporate financial
statements and other financial information.
- Review
loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to
the credit policy.
- To
review credit policies, credit lines, procedures and standards in
conjunction with other Senior Managers.
- To
analyze potential loan markets and develop referral networks in order to
locate prospects for loans.
- To
prepare mostly and periodic reports on loan portfolio to the credit
committee and the Board.
- To
provide training, support and guidance to the staff.
- To
monitor delinquent loans and institute recovery of the same.
- Any
other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree (B. A.) Economics, BBA, B.Com (Finance, Banking) or Equivalent.
- Must
have experience at management and supervisory level in operations, sales,
and member lending areas.
- Extensive
experience Minimum (5 Years) in preparing lending and /or co-operative
management and Banking.(Micro-Finance).
- Experience
in presenting and preparing proposals to recommend new products/services.
- Experience
leading, coaching and developing staff.
- Strong
analytical, financial and systems skills are required.
- Computer
literacy.
- Minimum
age 30 years.
