assistance agency of the Protestant Church of Germany. The regional office in
Nairobi is in charge of relief projects in the greater Horn of Africa and
Madagascar.

- Entry
and controlling of accounting transactions in the Quick Books accounting
software as well as proper filing of documents.
- Processing
of staff salaries and coordinating remittance of statutory payments in
time.
- Ensuring
proper documentation of all financial transactions as well as monitoring
and reviewing reports for accuracy, validity and completeness.
- Prepare
monthly and quarterly budget reports as well as closing of books of
account at the end of the year
- Interact
with external auditors in completing audits
- Maintain
and regularly update the DEA fixed asset register.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- University
degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce.
- CPA
II/ACCA II will be an added advantage
- At
least 2 years working experience with an international NGO
- Excellent
working knowledge of Microsoft office and accounting software
- Minimum
2 years driving experience.
- Excellent
knowledge of spoken and written English
- Posses
creative problem solving skills
- Team
player
