Summary 

Our client is one of the largest law firms in Kenya with a high degree of specialization in and an outstanding reputation for matters relating to banking, corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, civil and commercial litigation, admiralty and maritime law and private client work. 

The Head of Communications will be charged with developing an overall communications and public affairs strategy for the company, tied to business objectives. 

Generally, they will lead all communications activity including corporate communications/media relations, employee communications, community and philanthropic activities, and brand management. 

Primary Responsibilities 
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive communications plan, with attention to developing the organization’s brand
  • Integrating online and new media strategies into the overall communications strategy
  • Maintaining strong relationships with media houses
  • Working with the organization to set communications goals, train in communications skills, and track and report on success
  • Develop communication materials; Print, multi-media and web
  • Design, write and edit communications content
Skills and Requirements 
  • B.A. Degree; MBA desirable
  • 3 years relevant experience
  • Strong Organization and Presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
