PwC Human Capital Manager Job in Zambia

As the successful candidate reporting to the Country Operations Partner, you will be responsible for the human capital function at a strategic and operational level.

You will be responsible for supporting the management team in the development of sound HR strategies. This includes creating and maintaining processes and systems which enable the Firm to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people and help create a unique experience for each individual.


Key duties and responsibilities
  • Influencing senior management to gain commitment to Human Capital activities.
  • Manage all Learning & Development initiatives and work with territory human capital and relevant providers on delivery of training programs.
  • Develop, implement and streamline country reward and recognition schemes.
  • Resource planning and monitoring.
  • Preparation of the department budget, provide guidance on staff budgets and monitoring of human capital costs against budgets.
  • Foster employee engagement through relevant initiatives and communication.
  • Ensure timely attendance to staff related administrative matters.
  • Ensure compliance to human capital standards.
  • Review, develop and maintain appropriate Human Capital policies and procedures.
  • Ensure implementation of territory wide human capital initiatives.
For this role, you will require
  • A University degree with a post graduate qualification in Human Resources (HR), 5 years’ HR generalist experience preferably in a professional services firm or large corporate environment.
  • A strong background in recruitment, performance management, compensation and reward management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills and experience in working with HR management systems.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence, establish and maintain relationships, ability to lead in a multi-cultural environment and to initiate and successfully manage change.
