Sales Managers, Production Supervisor and Head of Stores - Food Manufacturing Company

A dynamic and fast growing ISO22000 certified food manufacturing company is urgently looking to recruit highly competent, proactive and self-driven persons to fill the following positions;

Area Sales Manager (Rift Valley Region)

The area sales manager must have good geographical knowledge of the region. He/she will be responsible for the sourcing of new business and managing continuous sales.

Duties will include, but not limited to executing a strategy to generate business through local relationships, networking and developing a portfolio of key accounts to produce revenue for both the local market and the entire network.

He/she shall ensure maximum conversion of all products by using proven sales methods, resulting in increased profitability. He/she shall develop good local and territory knowledge with particular attention on competition, target companies and industry segments.

We require applicants with a degree/diploma in Sales and Marketing from a recognized Institution with at least 2 years experience in sales, excellent communication skills, creativity and innovation, able to achieve sales targets, intelligent and a team player.

Export Sales Manager 
(1 position)

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing and managing client relationship for both confirmed and potential customers.

He/she will oversee sales targets in the export market, monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts, review reports submitted by sales staff to recommend approval or to suggest changes, review operational records and report to project sales and determine profitability, identify new business opportunities, maintain good working relationships with own client base to further grow business opportunities, identifying new international customers and markets for products; contracting with international distributors; monitoring processes; forecasting requirements and profits for each product and international market.

We require applicants with a minimum 5 years experience in Export Sales & Marketing in FMCG, good knowledge of export documents, Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Sales and Marketing, strong analytical and planning skills, with business sense and marketing strategy skills.

Production Supervisor

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for;

  • Ensuring that production targets and efficiencies are achieved
  • Training and management of production staff
  • Production planning for the various food products which the company manufactures
  • Coordinating the implementation and maintenance of Food safety systems
  • Allocation of resources and planning for raw materials to meet the companies production schedules
Qualifications; A degree in food science or related field, at least 3 years experience in a similar manufacturing industry. Must be computer literate and have the necessary management and supervisory skills. Training and knowledge in HACCP/ISO22000/KAIZEN will be an added advantage.

Head of Stores

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out stock taking on a regular basis and reconcile physical stock with records, ensuring proper receiving and issuing of goods from stores, supervising & controlling all stock movements, ensuring that all stocks are arranged in a systematic order & are easily accessible at any time, ensuring that all re-order levels are being followed & no stock outs are experienced, ensuring 24hrs delivery standards are maintained among other duties.

He/She should be good in planning and procurement practices to meet generally accepted quality standards for a busy ISO certified stores environment.

Qualifications: University graduate and above, professional qualification in procurement and stores management, at least 5 years experience as a Stores Manager in a large organization, computer literate, have high integrity and interpersonal skills.
