Job Title: 
Information Systems Manager

Line Manager: IS Area Manger-Sub Saharan Africa

Job Purpose

This position will be accountable for the day-to-day IS delivery management.

The incumbent will work closely with key 3rd party service providers to optimize and continuously improve service delivery in the areas of application support, technical enhancement, and technical maintenance as well as project delivery.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage 3rd party service level agreements through on-going assessment of service delivery levels and issue resolution success in respect of the technical service level agreements
  • Management and planning of infrastructure for day-to-day delivery and support agenda
  • Evaluate and authorize change requests though release management processes, in line with governance frameworks
  • Ensure the smooth running of all information systems and effectively monitor, control and support service delivery
  • Enhancement of End User Computing experience and facilitate projects to this end
  • Resolution of incidents and problem management through the deployment of necessary resources as a matter of urgency

Job Title: Key Accounts Supervisor
Reporting to: Trade Development Manager

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for the execution of the Key Account strategy and volume in Nairobi. Working closely with all departments and coordinating merchandising activities to achieve superior in-store visibility. The annual cycle plans and promotions execution are a key critical success factor.

Key Accountabilities
  • Achieve set targets within agreed budgets.
  • Contribute to, integrate and support KA strategy and its execution.
  • Conduct commercial calls to designated supermarket outlets on a regular basis, imparting CKL products knowledge and in- store training of both CKL and Supermarkets staff.
  • Support strong in-store visibility and merchandising while working closely with the merchandising team and respective ABS.
  • Ensure timely execution of activations and deployment of POS materials to achieve superior visibility in the target outlets.
  • Support the selling process through order management by self, merchandisers and Upcountry sales team through collaborating with all the other business functions.
  • Prepare reports on marketing activities by CKL, competitors and peer companies and market intelligence with the commercial team.
  • Secure, maintain and manage strong business relationships across the supermarket channel and with other Cadbury functions.

Job Title: Area Business Supervisor – Convenience
Reporting to: Trade Development Manager

Job Purpose

The Role of ABS Convenience is to deliver sales growth objectives in the Convenience HORECA and Non traditional Trade channels. This includes providing operational support to team and to all other sales regions in the country with the main objective of listing relevant products and range to drive volume and revenue growth.

Key Accountabilities
  • Deliver growth realization in Horeca Channels and emerging convenience outlets.
  • Development and implementation of the HORECA Strategy in Kenya in line with the Trade Channel development strategy.
  • Development and implementation of HORECA consumer activations programmes in partnership with the relevant outlets like Convenience Stores
  • Tap into current potential and exploit available opportunities across HORECA Channels to drive growth and strong presence in the non traditional outlets.
  • Coordinate Training programs to up skill the HORECA outlet managers, Merchandisers and other distribution support staff.
  • Support strong in-store visibility and merchandising while working closely with respective ABS, merchandising and Auxiliary sales teams.

In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that the ideal candidate will have:
  • Relevant academic and professional qualification preferably University Degree in Business Administration, Education or Social Sciences
  • Minimum 3 years in sales and distribution role in FMCG Company.
  • A valid driving licence and be a competent driver;
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to establish and build close working relationship with key players in the distribution chain across the different trade channels;

Reporting to: Area Business Supervisor

Job Purpose

This position will drive the achievement sales of growth objectives by optimizing product distribution within the assigned Region to guarantee availability in the target trade channels.

Key Accountabilities
  • Conducting sales calls to the target retail channels to generate and supply customer order requirements by SKU.
  • Uplifting stocks from the assigned wholesalers for redistribution to retail outlets within the given sales region.
  • Effective stock management in the trade to guarantee high quality standards
  • Maintaining strong relationships with the trade to support our growth objectives.
  • Sales and market Information management including channel based sales trend.
  • Implementation of marketing activities including seasonal promotional in the assigned distribution territory.
Person Specification

In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that the ideal candidate will have:
  • Relevant academic and professional qualification preferably University Degree in Business Administration, Education or Social Sciences. Candidates with Diploma in Sales & Marketing and a minimum of 3 Years work experience in FMCG’s Company will be considered.
