Personal Assistant to the Head of Africa Job - Sports TV Broadcasting, Rights and Production

We are a market leader in the business of Sports TV Broadcasting, Rights and Production.

A position for
 Personal Assistant to the Head of Africa has arisen. If you meet the following conditions and requirements, kindly apply.

Responsibilities:
1.   Provide full administrative/secretarial support to the Head of Africa and the members of the Team.
2.   Maintain a diary, arrange meetings, appointments on behalf of the GM Head of Africa and to act on his behalf when necessary.

3.   Monitoring of deadlines, management of day to day workload and setting of priorities to ensure personal deadlines are met.
4.   Organize travel and conferences.
5.   Ensure good communication with the management team, and with staff in general.
6.   Coordinate incoming mail and correspondence, and to ensure both are dealt with on a timely basis.
7.   Present a professional image when acting on behalf of the company to clients and other organizations.
8.   Contribute towards the achievement of company and departmental objectives.
9.   Introduce and maintain appropriate systems to ensure good administration.
10.               Ensure tidiness of your workstation, and the office in general.
Qualifications, Competencies & Attributes
  • Bachelors degree (Arts, Social Sciences)
  • Good level of competence in Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • 3 years secretarial/administrative experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • A flexible and imaginative approach to problem solving
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and to work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all matters passing through the office
  • Ability to work and interact in a small team environment
