Credit Officer Job Vacancy - Trust with Credit Operations

Position:-

A young but fast growing Trust with credit operations wishes to recruit a Credit Officer.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the Credit Officer will be in charge of the Credit portfolio of the Trust. Applicants must be innovative, self motivated, of high integrity, results oriented and with ability to work with minimum supervision
Location:- Nairobi with extensive field travel in Kenya.
Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Promotion of Trust's loan products to potential clientele
  
  
• Link person between the clients, agents, and The Trust
• Receiving and carrying out appraisal on loan applications
• Managing the Loans Portfolio to ensure quality Portfolio
• Effective monitoring and tracking of loans
• Perfecting security documents and ensuring that the process flows smoothly
• Conducting market surveys for New Products development
• Preparing timely reports on the loan portfolio for Board Of Trustees meeting
• Follow up on repayments, and management of loans delinquency
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the C.E.O

Qualifications:-

• Must be a Kenyan Citizen
• 3 years experience in a similar job such as that of credit administration or loan management gained from working in the field of microfinance or financial institution
• A graduate with B.Com degree or other relevant qualification
• Computer literate especially on loans tracking software
• Not more than 45 years of age
• Possesses a valid driving license
