Save the Children Invitation to tender for rehabilitation of primary schools in Masisi Zone in North Kivu province

The DRC programme invites your submission of a tender to rehabilitate 12 primary schools in Masisi Zone in the North Kivu Province in Eastern DRC.
The application documents and forms can be obtained at Save the Children offices in DRC, Kenya or Uganda.
We require the following documents as your tender response:
  • The Completed Tender Document with all sections duly filled up
  • The Request for Proposal (RFP)

  • Any other relevant accompanying documents
Properly completed tender bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked; Private and Confidential, showing the TENDER NO SC/DRC/ 2010/ 006 and addressed for the attention of The Procurement & Contracts Committee, Save the Children DRC. The outside of the envelope should not have any other details relating to the bid being submitted.
Alternatively submissions by email to logmanager_gn@yahoo.fr will be accepted for bidders from outside of DRC.
Your return tender must be received by the appropriate Save the Children Office at the address below not later than 17:00 hours Eastern DRC Time(1800 Mrs Eats African Time ) and 16:00 hrs (Kinshasa time) by the 10th August 2010
Failure to meet the Closing Date may result in the tender being void.

We will require full completion of the documentation in order that your tender may be regarded as compliant. Those tenders returned not completed may be treated as void. Your bid is to be dropped into the correct “Tender Box” situated at Save the Children Offices in the said countries.
Returned bids must remain open for consideration for a period of not less than 5 days from the Closing date. SCUK is under no obligation to award the contract or to award it to the lowest bidder.
Save The Children reserves the right to accept or reject any application and is not bound to give reasons for its decision.
