Education Development Center Chief of Party - East Africa Job Vacancy

EDC’s International Development Division is currently seeking a Chief of Party for our international youth development project in East Africa.

Candidates for this position will have a proven track record of overall technical and management leadership to a team of international and local professionals seeking to engage youth in the design and delivery of youth development services.

The COP candidate must have a minimum of 5-10 years experience in participatory international youth development programs.

Overall responsibilities will include leading and managing an international project’s administrative, programmatic, technical, and operational aspects in the field — in collaboration with Project Director and in accordance with EDC, funder, and host country requirements.

Experience should include having served as Chief of Party, or similar leadership position managing overseas, large and complex development projects. Candidates are required to possess a Masters Degree in Social Sciences/Management Development studies or related degree. Must be fluent in English.
