Our
client in a tours and travel company urgently needs to employ a qualified
individual to work as a Backend Developer
Responsibilities
- Design and develop server-side web
application logic using Java Script programming language.
- Develop and maintain APIs for web and
mobile applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers and
other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, robust, and scalable
applications
- Optimize applications for maximum speed
and scalability
- Implement security and data protection
measures
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported
by users and provide technical support
- Stay current with emerging trends and
technologies in web development
- Desired Candidate Profile
- Creating, maintaining, testing, and
debugging the entire back end of an application or system, which consists
of the core application logic, databases, data and application
integration, API, and other processes taking place behind the scenes1
- Taking part in ongoing learning and
training to stay up to date on standard practices and learn different
programming languages2
- Establishing goals and creating more
usable, seamless codes in collaboration with the front-end developers and
other team members to improve the user experience2
- Collecting and reporting important data
to key stakeholders, such as clients or management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or
related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in back-end
web development
- Strong proficiency in server-side
programming languages such as Node JS
- Experience with RESTful web services and
API design
- Solid understanding of database design,
optimization, and management
- Working knowledge of front-end web
development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems
such as Git
