Senior Market Research Project Officer- Electric
About the role:
BURN is looking to hire a highly
analytical Senior market research project officer- Electric. The ideal
candidate will be expected to be involved in the leadership and management of
the organization’s market research objectives and efforts. They will help
improve existing policies and practices for gathering research on market
conditions, competitors, and consumer trends.
Being the senior research officer, they will spearhead
the designing, planning, collection, analysis, and presentation of data and
research outcomes to commercial, research and development, and management
teams.
They will also manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day
performance of their jobs and ensure that project /department milestones/goals
are met and adhere to approved budgets.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Developing collaborative, strategic
partnerships with internal stakeholders and business unit teams to be their
trusted advisor for research execution from design to delivery
Ability to interpret research requests
and lead brainstorming sessions with internal stakeholders.
Owning project management for
assigned product lines leading ongoing projects to ensure the full Insights
team delivers the overall project on time, to budget, and to scope
Creating, owning, and managing
end-to-end project plans, including optimizing the value in what we deliver
through leading the scope of work
Develop accurate study tools, i.e.,
questionnaires and discussion guides that are in line with study objectives;
Proficiency with the Kobo App tool and other scripting platforms
Crafting research problems, hypothesis
to be tested, sample compositions to fulfill the objective of the study ,
and identifying the relevant type of methodology for execution
Creating clear ways of working to set
the team up for success, clarifying accountabilities, dependencies, and
expectations, and holding people/teams to account.
Identifying and mitigating
risks/resolving problems
Providing strong consultancy and
support in critical issue situations, coaching, and embedding standard
methodology project management within the team.
Interpret and triangulate multiple
data sources to develop a comprehensive story- and data-driven reports to
significantly address business objectives
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree level of education
Experience working in climate change, market
research, and other relevant fields
Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in
qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Strong commitment and capacity to engage
internal stakeholders through a participatory and consultative approach to
strategy development.
Extensive experience in data management,
analysis, study designs, and data quality
Ability to navigate the internal organization
structure and work with stakeholders across regions and cultures.
Self-driven and able to ideate and scope own
deliverables.
Ability to interpret research requests
and lead brainstorming sessions with internal stakeholders.
Crafting research problems, and
hypotheses to be tested.
Proficiency in PowerPoint
Presentations
Identify relevant research study types
and methodologies for execution.
Craft representative sample
compositions to fulfill the objective of the study
Develop accurate study tools,
i.e., questionnaires and discussion guides that are in line with
study objectives,
Proficiency with the Kobo App tool and
other scripting platforms
Project planning
Analysis of Raw Data
Proficiency in Excel, SPSS, Power BI,
and any other platform.
Qualitative & quantitative
analysis through excel grids, NVivo, Dedoose, and any
other platforms.
Team management.
