(Grade III Artisan)

The
Hospital is part of an integrated health system that includes Hospitals and
outreach health centers across East Africa.

The
hospital seeks to recruit an ideal candidate for the following position: –
Painter
(Grade III Artisan)
Reporting
to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will undertake
preventive and breakdown maintenance works in the hospital.
The incumbent will also be responsible for general facility repairs with focus in the areas of plumbing, masonry, painting, and carpentry.
Job
Summary
· Carry
out painting works on all surfaces that need full painting or paint touch up
· Carry
out assigned routine maintenance works and those raised in the maintenance help
desk
· Undertake
maintenance of plant and equipment related to raw and purified water, hot water
systems and equipment, sanitary and sewage systems
· Responsible
for ensuring ample flow of water to in accordance with the demands of the
hospital
· Carry
out plumbing, sanitary installations and undertake machinery commissioning in
compliance with the safety standards
· Undertake
appropriate preventive and breakdown maintenance as and when needed
· Responsible
for keeping/tracking documentations on power, gas and water meter readings
· Perform
carpentry or masonry related tasks involving repairs or replacement of damaged,
defective parts of structures
Required
qualifications, attributes, and experience
· National
Trade Test Grade III (Painting) or its equivalent
· Qualifications
and experience in plumbing and electrical works will be an added advantage
· Should
have successfully completed ‘O’ Level
· Minimum
of 2 year of relevant experience in plumbing, masonry, and painting
· Knowledge
of water dynamics, masonry, and painting
