FINANCE MANAGER – FINANCIAL ADVISORY

Government and Non-Government Institutions, and to support them solve financial
challenges or pursue opportunities.
FINANCE
MANAGER – FINANCIAL ADVISORY
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Full
responsibility for Financial Strategy and Planning with high focus on risk
management, capitalization and investment strategy.
· Business
Development opportunities through scenario planning and forecasting.
· Lead
the Finance team in General Ledger management and accounting operations.
· Develop,
implement and review internal control guidelines, policies and processes in
line with laws and regulations.
· Develop decision support systems and reports to support board and management level decision making.
· Designing
of effective internal controls, governance and compliance measures.
· Collaborate
with internal, external audit and legal teams to provide internal assurance of
proposed measures
· Recommend
for hire and develop finance talent through training, mentorship and coaching.
· Support
the Partners in managing key stakeholder relationships.
· Assist
in advising client businesses on their tax liabilities and disclosures as well
as responding to client queries on their tax issues/inquiries.
· Stay
abreast of changes in corporate finance laws and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE
· A
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Commerce,
Mathematics or a related field from a recognized university;
· A
Master’s degree or post graduate degree is an added advantage;
· A
recognized professional accounting qualification such as Certified Public
Accountants (CPA), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or
equivalent;
· At
least six (6) years working experience with at least of two (2) years at a
senior level;
· At
least three (3) years in a professional services Firm, client facing role is a
must;
· Excellent
communication and presentation skills;
· Strong
organizational and interpersonal skills, Attention to detail;
· Excellent
knowledge of MS Office and accounting software; and
· Strong
writing and research skills.
