Customer Support
Verde Edge is recruiting
a Customer Support Executive on behalf of our client an international company
growing its presence in East Africa and beyond. Their core business being
manufacturing, import and export of agricultural machinery, tools and equipment
for commercial and industrial use.
Overview of the role
To manage customer queries and process sales orders with an aim of delivering excellent customer experience to drive customer retention and business growth. Internally, the ideal candidate will be required to closely collaborate with logistics, sales, finance to meet and exceed customer expectations. Externally, this role will serve a distribution network and territorial sales representatives that spans the East African region. The company is seeking to fill this role with a candidate who has a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive calls and quickly deal with queries/orders
in such a way that positively affects the customer’s perception.
- Ensure all orders are quickly and correctly
inputted into the SAP ordering system.
- To actively promote sales promotions, specials,
and accessory sales by making regular contact with dealers.
- Keep department heads informed of any frequent
queries and problems that may arise that these queries/problems can be
dealt with more efficiently.
- Conduct telephone research with dealers to
ascertain needs in terms of parts books, price lists, and catalogues.
- Train dealers in the use of price lists, part
lists and catalogues as may be required.
- Use customer contact, sales planning and
activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in
these systems.
- Act as a support to the Area Sales representatives
communicating regularly, looking for opportunities together to promote
products, to dealers, maximizing the sales opportunities from our existing
client base.
Required
Qualifications Experience & Attributes
- Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in
Business, Social Sciences, or any equivalent qualification
- Experience in Call Centre, customer support,
Technical Sales, OR exposure in a Sales environment,
- Experience in using a CRM/ERP software is desired
- Minimum 4 years in a busy environment that
require deadline management
- Competence working with a CRM software or excel to
generate reports
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and
a team player
- Ability to multitask, prioritize competing
demands
- Assertive, independent and able to withstand
pressure
- Be mature, credible and have confidence dealing
with senior managers and directors
Salary budget 75k-80k
