They seek to hire an experienced
Travel Operations Manager who will be tasked with leading and coordinating the
daily activities of the business travel management consultants, consisting up
to 12 travel consultants with the main objective is to ensure service to
corporate clients
Key Responsibilities:
·
Travel Operations Manager is
responsible to supervise and support the team leaders in their daily activities
·
Ensure daily operations in accordance
to reservations policies and procedures
·
Lead and develop teams in delivering
and achieving the SLAs defined for the operations team, in accordance with
company standards while optimizing performance.
·
May approve cost in accordance to
internal company policy
·
Responsible to ensure that monthly
operational goals and KPI’s are achieved
·
Ensure sufficient staff is available
to achieve the service towards customers.
·
Responsible for recruitment in
accordance to company policy with guidance from HR and Managing Director
·
Act as the first point of contract
for the team for work related duties and HR related issues.
·
Lead and develop the team members in
achieving the SLAs defined for the operations team, in accordance with
standards while optimizing performance.
·
Proactively identify and implement
solutions to constantly improve service level and performance.
·
Ensuring that travel consultants are
delivering all travel-related requirements which are to be carried out in a
proficient manner and in accordance with the company’s policy and procedures,
and client specific travel policy.
·
Responsible to ensure the daily
operation of travel management to provide end to end travel consulting service
to ‘high touch’ corporate clients.
·
Responsible for all travel-related
requirements, which are to be carried out in a proficient manner and in
accordance with company procedures, standards and client specific service level
agreement (SLA), key performance indicators (KPI) and travel policy
·
Required to be flexible concerning
working hours as the role may require work outside normal business hours.
Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree in travel and
tourism
·
Ten (10) years of direct supervision
of front line travel
·
Good English: Written and oral
·
Ability to deal within a
multicultural environment
·
Expertise with the Galileo/Amadeus
GDS platform and web fares
·
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
·
E-mail Management System
·
PBX Phone system management,
Amadeus/Galileo Script writing, TRAMS Interface experience, Client Base Plus
development, integration and deployment for leisure or corporate travel,
automated ticket-based ticketing and tracking system
·
Travel industry apprenticeship
·
IATA or GDS training certificate
·
Consultants in a corporate travel
environment.
·
Experience managing leisure, group or
event travel.
·
Good leadership skills and knowledge
in people management
·
General understanding of KPI used in
travel industry
·
Good understand of customer service
skills
·
Good financial understanding of
budget and reports

with identifying prospects and following up on clients to generate business;
identifying business opportunities and analyzing sales options; meet sales
goals set by the management and foster meaningful relationships with both
existing and prospective clients
Key Responsibilities:

Visit potential customers for new
business and provide customers with quotations
·
Negotiate the terms of an agreement
and close sales
·
Gather market and customer
information and provide feedback on buying trends
·
Represent the company at trade
exhibitions, events and demonstrations
·
Identify new markets and business
opportunities
·
Record sales and send copies to the
sales office
·
Review his/her own sales performance
·
Promote the company to existing and
new corporate accounts and individual clients.
·
Make sales calls with the objective
of acquiring new and additional corporate accounts/clients and cash business,
including Holidays and Leisure
·
Deliver a passionate and high quality
of personalized customer service, ensuring our customers feel valued and
engaged

Maximize sales and be proactive with

requirements are handled efficiently.

Keep the company management/sales
manager informed about customer feedback and any complaints competitors and
market trends/practices.

Maintain sales call records and good
relations with all the company’s locations.

Liaise with Sales/KAM Managers in
formulating strategies aimed at obtaining specific high yield commercial
accounts

Solicit travel business on cash basis
from individual clients/accounts
·
Assists in reconciliation of accounts
& collections in coordination with Finance Department
·
Ensure sales target are met in
coordination with other team members
Qualifications
·
Bachelors (Business/Tourism and
Travel Degree) with Sales and Marketing qualifications.
·
Sales and marketing experience in the
service industry
·
Minimum 2 years Corporate Travel
Sales experience with proven track record
·
Dynamic and aggressive person with
ability to generate new business / sales
·
Excellent communication, customer
relation skills
·
GDS (Global Distribution system)
experience is an advantage
·
Manage and follow up on prospect list
·
Ability to prospect ,able to identify
and list potential clients
·
Ability to identify key decision
makers
·
Ability to do telesales of a minimum
of 20 per day
·
Gain and achieve a minimum of 10 new
appointments per week
·
Achieve a minimum of 5 second
appointments per week
·
A passion for travel and a great
product knowledge base.

Job Title: Credit Controller

seek to hire an experienced Credit Controller who will be tasked with
accountability for the entire credit granting process, including the consistent
application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers,
and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the
goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt losses.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Understanding credit, AR, cash
application & collection policy and procedures, and execute in compliance
with the company’s credit policy
·
Assist in the setting up of the
credit control system
·
Request accounts department to
process credit notes as appropriate
·
Identify changes in payment patterns
and propose action to avert indebtedness
·
Research disputes and resolve queries
within specified timeframes, Manage Disputes related to Collections
·
Ensure all Client reconciliation
issues are raised with respective departments and sorted and/or escalated to
the line manager
·
Collect all outstanding debt from
customers within the credit control policy and as per set targets.
·
Monitor the actual and projected
exposure against credit limit
·
Circulate debtor statements to
clients as per set timelines.
·
Prepare demand letters for issuance
to clients where appropriate and as per policy.
·
Perform regular visits to
intermediaries and clients for statement reconciliation and collection of
outstanding premiums.
·
Allocate all payments received within
2 days from date of receipt and/or share payment advice with accounts and
follow up for allocation to be done.
·
Analyze and reconcile all client
statements and circulate on a monthly basis to all stakeholders to facilitate
collection.
·
Ensure timely resolution of all
client queries. Manage an issues tracker, updated daily with all issues raised.
·
Provide adequate service to internal
customers of the credit department.
·
Ad hoc tasks as needed or assigned in
support of the credit control function
Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree in Business or
Accounting
·
At least 2-3 years’ experience in a
similar role.
·
Has highly developed IT skills (MS
office) and an understanding of, and an ability to operate computer based
financial management systems, and to assist others with their operation.
·
Fully qualified accountant (ACA,
ACCA, or CIMA, CCP, CPA)
