Purpose of the role:
The Senior Business Incubator Officer
is responsible for setting up and coordinating the activities and services in
the Incubator. S/he will be in charge of developing and providing business
development support to the new entrepreneurs of the Incubator. The SBI Officer
will develop and maintain a network of key stakeholders. S/he will work
collaboratively with incubator small and micro business, writes and administers
grants and facilitates the operation of the business incubator. The Senior
Business Incubator Officer will supervise all operations in the incubation
centre.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Oversees the day-to-day operation of the business incubator
facility, including marketing the facility, recruiting potential tenants, and
assisting in screening potential start-ups and entrepreneurs
2. Works with business community and other stakeholders to
stimulate economic development in the Kalobeyei Settlement and Kakuma camp.
3. Acts as a catalyst to strengthen the small-business support
network by coordinating the delivery of services to clients and working closely
with other business service providers to facilitate tenant and client success.
4. Evaluates and seeks potential funding sources through program
revenue, grants, donors, etc.
5. Develops and maintains a client database, prepares periodic
reports, and maintains records of projects, progress, and the status of the
business incubation centre.
6. Coordinates, maintains, and reviews tenants’ facility needs to
ensure the incubator is meeting current targeted industry needs.
7. Assists in developing, implementing and reviewing policies
governing the operation of the business Incubation centre in Kakuma and
Kalobeyei settlement
8. Conducts business coaching with clients on an individual basis
9. Manages funds by planning and developing the incubator budget,
identify income sources.
10. Drafts proposals on behalf of the business for business
expansions and sustainability
MINIMUM PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum qualifications required
o A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related
field is required; a Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related

of all vehicles and other assets. S/he will carry out all major repairs;
diagnose faults, and overhaul engines, gearboxes, transmissions, differentials,
and other mechanical components.
Duties and Responsibilities
The General Maintenance, Servicing
and Repairs of all vehicles and other assets
o Operates oxyacetylene and electric arc welding machines in
cutting and welding and also carry out fabrication work
o Cuts, welds, brazes and solders metal parts in the repair and
replacement of parts for mechanical equipment, or in the repair, replacement or
installation of structural steel;
o Ensure proper repair of punctured tires and recommend if the
inner tubes or tires need to be replaced.
o Distinguish uneven tire wear on the vehicle and recommend if
there is a need for suspension repair or wheel alignment.
o Keep the workshop section clean at all time.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor
the Workshop Supplies Technician will be required to manage the spare part
store and suport mechanical works when free. This will iclude stock management
and supervision of spare parts movements and control of stocks; store
organization and space utilization and reporting on stock utilisation. The role
will corrdinate with other key workshop staff to ensure that the spare part
store is well managed.
Duties and Responsibilities
o Store & stock Management
o Workshop Spare Part Store Management
o Manage the spare part store (Store organization and space
utilization).
o Manage the spare part stock (supervision of spare parts movements
and control of stocks)
o Responsible and to organize stock security (Accountable for the
spare parts in stock in the stores).
o Responsible for the completion of the workshop documents and
other related matters according to SOPs recommendations.
o Ensure and maintain proper inventory system(kardex) and all
parts issued/received are reflected immediately on to the stock card on a daily
basis.
o Records all shipments of spareparts in-coming and checks with
the packing list and provides information of any over, lost and damaged item.
o Take the responsibility of the stock only on the base of an
effective / documented and signed inventory.
o Be the only person in possession of the store keys (copy are
kept celled in a coffer).

o Organize and optimize the available store space to facilitate
the storage and flux of parts in the store. Take appropriate action if space is

perspective of an improvement of the stock management (in coordination with the
workshop manager).
o Organize the security of the stock by taking all appropriate
measures. Limit stricly access to the Spare Part Store to authorized staff

allowed in the stores at anytime for the security of the stores and assets

o Organize the transparent and efficient storage of old parts.
Ensure that dispatching of spares to the sub- offices are done in a timely
manner. Prepares all spare parts requisitions/receiving forms/way bills/issue
vouchers and job cards duly filled before the parts are issued or distributed.
Arrange and keep all parts/tools in a systematic manner so that easy
accessibility are maintained and avoid duplicating orders.

related to spare parts management are functioning.

o Establish strong collaboration with the LMIS and ICT Officer to
insure that PMS stock is reflecting the physical stock (all documents properly
registered) and the Purchasing service to anticipate receptions and accelerate
purchasing request.
o Insure the daily stock control of moved parts (parts received
and issued during the day)
o Insure a regular statistical control on a relevant % of the
stock at least every 2 months.
o Organize 2 times a year a total stock inventory (external
control to be organized by the Workshop Manager).
o For each control, proceed systematically with a stock
reconciliation (balance between physical / stock card and PMS stock)
o Inform the workshop Supervisor of any discrepancies / trace
causes / request the authorization for a stock adjustment. Make sure that
stores information will not be revealed to non-AAHI person at any time- any
critical information should not be release to unauthorize person for confidentiality
and require approval from the office.
