Job Summary: To enhance productivity, increase efficiency, increase yield of
land by incorporating mechanization methods that reduce unit costs.
Primary Responsibilities:

Aid in efforts to find, evaluate,
improve and commercialize scale-appropriate agricultural machinery in crop
establishment, crop protection, irrigation harvest and farm transport
·
Aid in the development of training materials
and modules for service providers and other stakeholders that offers guidance
on machinery repair and maintenance, proper use, better-bet mechanized
agronomic practices
·
Aid in planning and reporting and
implementation of overview studies that identify and highlight constraints
experienced by service providers and the agro-machinery industry and identify
and recommend potential solutions
·
Aid and strengthen relationships and
partnerships with public and private sector partners
·
Assist in monitoring and evaluation
and statistical analysis and reporting efforts by providing quality input and
reports in a timely manner
·
Follow best practices in data
collection, and in organizing, managing, storing, and archiving data

Assist managers with budget, staff

Job Summary: Install,
service, repair wiring, conduits, fixtures and other electrical devices,
systems and monitor to ensure for continued operational functionality.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, test and maintain
electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures,
using hand and power tools.
·
Diagnose malfunctioning systems,
apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the
cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
·
Connect wires to circuit breakers,
transformers and other components.
·
Inspect electrical systems, equipment
and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or
repair to ensure compliance with codes.
·
Advise management on whether
continued operation of equipment could be hazardous and recommend appropriate
action for consideration.

Test electrical systems and
continuity of circuit in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain, diagnose and repair
electrical instrumentation and automation equipment used by the company,
industrial motor controls, pump drives and chemical feed systems.
·
Maintain, repair and upgrade the
electrical distribution infrastructure for the company.
·
Perform thermography of motor control
and electrical distribution panels; collect and analyse power quality data to
troubleshoot problems.
·
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and
repair high voltage motors, control centres and de-energized high voltage
equipment.
·
Performance comprehensive
troubleshooting down to component level, to extend the life of obsolete
equipment and conserve funds.

Job Summary: To
keep equipment / vehicles available for use by inspecting and testing
vehicles/equipment; completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups,
oil change, tire rotation and remedial maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:

Interview drivers or operators and
take a detailed history of vehicle/equipment performance or mechanical failure.
·
Diagnose vehicles / equipment based
on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by
driver, operators or user.
·
Provide the workshop manager with
detailed estimates for repairs and replacements and obtain signature approval
prior to commencing work.
·
Inspect machines, engines, transmission
etc and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
·
Troubleshoot reported problems and
resolve them in a timely manner.
·
Conduct repairs aiming for maximum
reliability and perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and
