·      Valid practice license from Clinical Officers’ Council, and

·      Certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

·      Will offer curative services in health facilities,
·      Responds to emergences,
·      Work in shifts,
·      Counsel clients on health issues, and
·      Answerable and accountable to Sub County head of Health Services or Medical Superintendent.


Clinical Officer Ophthalmology
J/G ‘L’

Qualifications

·      Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community Health,
·      Higher National Diploma in both Ophthalmology and cataract surgery,
·      Have a certificate of Registration by Clinical Officers Council,
·      Valid practice license from Clinical Officers’ Council, and
·      Certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

·      Will offer Ophthalmology and cataract surgery services in the County Health Facilities, and
·      Will be reporting and accountable to the Sub County Head of Health Services or Medical Superintendent.


Mortician III
J/G ‘G’

Qualifications

·      KCSE mean grade D+ (plus), and
·      One month training with certificate from an institution recognized by Funeral Services Association of Kenya.

Responsibilities

·      Removal of bodies from place of death ,
·      Receive bodies and tag them for identification,
·      Body preservation(refrigeration and embalming),
·      Preparation of bodies for burial,
·      Escort mourners to funeral chapels, and
·      Assists during post-mortems.


Clerical Officer II
J/G ‘F’

Qualifications

·      KCSE mean grade C (plain) or its equivalent, and
·      Be proficient in Computer applications.

Responsibilities

·      Will be compiling statistical records, sorting , filing and dispatching letters,
·      Maintain efficient filing system, and
·      Process appointments, promotions, disciplinary and transfers.


Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse III

Qualifications

·      Diploma Holder in Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse( KRCHN) from a recognized institution,
·      Registered with Nursing Council of Kenya,
·      Have a valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya, and
·      Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

·      Assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patients/clients outcomes;
·      Providing appropriate health care service including Integrated Management of Childhood illness (IMCI), Immunization, PMTCT, Antenatal care, delivery, providing health education and counseling to patient/clients;
·      Facilitating patients’ admission and initiating discharge plans, maintaining records on patients/clients health condition and care, ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment and collecting and compiling data; and
·      Community interventions including identification and implementation of health needs, referring patients/clients appropriately.


Health Records Information Officer III

Qualifications

·      Diploma in Health Records and information Technology from a recognized institution,
·      Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution, and
·      Registered by Association of Medical Records Officers Kenya.

Responsibilities

·      Will receive document and book clients in a health facility,
·      Maintain record safety and confidentiality and storage, and
·      Assigning codes to diseases and surgical procedures.


Medical Laboratory Technologists III

Qualifications

·      Diploma in laboratory technology from a recognized institution ,
·      Certificate of Registration by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologist Board,
·      Valid practice license from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologist Board,

Assistant Public Health Officer III

Qualifications

·      Diploma in environmental health sciences or public health technology,

·      Certificate of compliancy from association public health officers, and
·      Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

·      Will provide environmental health extension services, and
·      Implement vector, vermin & rodent measures.


Radiographer III
Job Group ‘H’

Qualifications

·      KCSE mean grade of C plain with grade C in English/Kiswahili, Biological Sciences or Physical Sciences, and C- (minus) in Mathematics, and
·      Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography/Medical Imaging Sciences, Computerized Tomography, MRI, and Mammography

Responsibilities

·      Providing radiographic services to the patients,
·      Processing, verifying and maintaining information relating to patients, and
·      Ordering and maintaining records of radiographic and photographic supplies.


Medical Engineering Technologist III
J/G H

Qualifications

·      Must have a diploma in Medical Engineering Technology from recognized institution, and
·      Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

·      Will be responsible for equipment fault diagnosis, and
·      Will do basic repair and maintenance of equipment in health facilities.
