1. Registered Clinical Officer for ENT
(1 Position) 

Reporting to the Medical Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for provision of compassionate healthcare to ear, nose and throat patients. 

Key responsibilities will include: 
·                     Attend to both inpatient and outpatient patients with ENT cases.
·                     Responsibility for keeping inventory and attention to proper care & maintenance of special equipment’s within the ENT Outpatient facility.
·                     Shared responsibility for maintaining ENT equipment and supplies within the Operating Theatres, along with Theatre staff. 
·                     Be actively involved in bedside teaching of interns and other learners on the wards or in the outpatient department
·                     Lead case presentations and discussions (e.g. “morning report”) as part of the regular Conference Schedule. 
·                     Participate in regular audit meetings and present ENT data as scheduled
Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Personal Attributes Required:
·                     Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery, plus specialty training (Higher National Diploma) in Ear, Nose & Throat Medicine.
·                     Desire to see Kijabe Hospital clinical and educational teams fulfill their purposes.
·                     Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
2. Biomedical Engineering Assistant Manager

(1 Position) 


Reporting to the Maintenance and Operations Manager, the main purpose of this position is to liaise with the section in-charges to ensure smooth hospital operations through proper maintenance of medical machines and equipment.
 
Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Personal Attributes Required: 
·                     Diploma Medical Engineering from a reputable Institution 
·                     At least three years of working experience 
·                     Team building, management and leadership skills
·                     Proficiency in computer skills. 
Key responsibilities will include:
·                     Maximizing service delivery and fully exploiting technological and business process innovations; 
·                     Formulating and maintaining ICT standards, policies and procedures that match best practice in the industry and comply with all regulations and licensing requirements; 
·                     Establishing mechanisms and processes to exploit synergy between the Hospital, its affiliates and partners; 
·                     Developing ICT budgets and managing all ICT operational and capital expenditures; 
·                     Providing effective leadership and management of ICT staff to build a highly motivated and performing team.
3. Head Cook
(1 Position)
 
The purpose of the position is to bring glory to God through preparation, cooking and service of food in accordance with defined standards and quality.
 
Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Personal Attributes Required:
·                     Diploma in food production and service
·                     At least 3 years’ experience in bulk food at a supervisory level in a busy facility. Hospital experience will be an added advantage.
·                     Experience in menu planning and costing
·                     Refined team leadership and communication skills
Key responsibilities will include:
·                     To plan, prepare and serve food to meet the specifications as defined by the hospital.
·                     Provide leadership to the Assistant Cooks and Catering Assistants.
·                     Ensure legal requirements are met in the process of food handling and production.
·                     Manage the food cost within the agreed levels.
·                     Provide on site and job training as per schedule or when required
·                     Maintain a motivated workforce.
