Systems Integration Specialist
The role is responsible for the
analysis, design, development and management (technical support) of the bank’s
ESB platforms with all its integration points to the Core Banking System, Bank
Channels,Partners and other Third Party systems. The role delivers business
strategy through the GITA by making information flow through various Bank
Systems
Responsibilities

The design/analysis, development,
delivery and ongoing improvement of all Systems Integration processes
·
Provide 2nd Level support for
escalated issues from the IT Operations and IT Applications Teams
·
Adherence to internal policies and
procedures for the development and management of CBA Integration Platforms and
ESB/SOA repositories along ITIL and other best practice standards
·
Support, maintain and audit existing
service lifecycle artifacts, to agreed SLAs (10%)
·
Effective management of relationships
and protocols with other technical platform owners and internal business owners
(10%)
·
Advise internal customers on
technology improvements that will ensure realization and maximization of
business objectives (10%)
Qualifications
·
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology or related field. A Master’s degree in
Technology or Business related course is an added advantage
·
Minimum 6 years’ experience in IT
systems development within a large highly digitized organization designing,
implementing and managing mission critical systems, with at least 2 of those
years within systems integration
·
Certification and experience
implementing best practice frameworks e.g. ITIL, PRINCE2
·
Hands on experience in software
development with major languages Java, C++, C# and practical experience using
relation RDBMS e.g. Oracle and MS SQL etc
·
Hands on experience in complex
systems integrations using major SOA tools (Oralce Weblogic/ESB/SOA)
·
Deep understanding of industry
standard formats and protocols (JMS, SOAP, XML/XPath/XQuery, REST and JSON)
·
Excellent analytical and problem
solving skills
·
A good knowledge of the systems and
processes within Financial Services industry

Head of IT Infrastructure
The Head of IT Infrastructure is
responsible for the overall data center hosting strategy these includes on
premise, collocation and cloud; CBA group WAN/LAN, CBA group databases and
storage, CBA servers and related Office automation and desktop/productivity
tools.
The role will plan, organize, and
manage staff and overall operations that facilitate the stable operation of the
bank’s IT infrastructure.Effective delivery of the objectives of the role will
include maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas; network
infrastructure, server infrastructure, databases, and telecommunications
systems. In collaboration with external vendors and delivery partners, the
Infrastructure Head will schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and
software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

Information Systems Auditor
The purpose of this role is to
conduct internal audits on CBA Group’s information systems related to
information technology security, functions/ processes and the technology
applications that support business functions. The internal audit activities involve analyzing risks and controls, recommending process and control improvements, and providing reports summarizing audit activity to relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate security controls are in place to protect the Group’s assets from ICT related risks.

Qualifications

Systems Auditor. Relevant certifications in information security knowledge
areas, such as Information Systems Audit, Information Security

Management and Ethical Hacking.
Certified Internal Auditor designation is a plus.
·
5 years of information system audit
experience – conducting information systems audits in a financial institution
would be highly desirable.
·
Experience of working in the IT
function within a banking environment will be an advantage.

Relationship Manager
To grow and maintain a portfolio of
clients within assigned market segment by contributing to business growth for
the Bank through recommending or selling Business Banking products and cross
selling other Bank products and services so as to enhance value-add
relationship with existing customers.
This incorporates strong personal
drive in prospecting and acquiring new customers, pursuing incremental business
within the existing customer base, managing customer expectations to sustain
the business relationship and providing business advice that will benefit the
client.
Responsibilities
·
Portfolio Management – This entails
engagement with assigned relationship manager(s) to undertake daily monitoring
of accounts to ensure operations within the approved limits, preparation of
excess requests and follow up for sanctions by approving authorities, advising
fate of clearing cheques, monitoring of facility covenants (e.g. debenture
valuation, valuation reports, inspections, insurance, land rates and rents) to
ensure accounts are operated as per bank policies.

Customer Service – This entails being
the principal contact point with support from the assigned relationship
manager(s) of prospective customers or assigned portfolio of business
relationships and liaison with other CBA units to ensure prompt resolution of
customer queries, needs and concerns to ensure that client relationships within
the portfolio are maintained effectively.

Risk Management/Compliance –
Consistency in adherence to and application of established policies, processes,
and tools to achieve optimal efficiency, compliance and cost containment.
Minimization of exposures to and impact of risks associated with client
portfolio in line with Bank credit policies, CBK regulatory requirements, KYC
and AML policies. This involves liaison with business banking clients to obtain
KYC documents, financials and other necessary review information, credit
administration documentation e.g. letters of offer, insurance renewals,
security documentation etc.

Business development (Cross Selling)
– Supporting the assigned relationship manager to achieve set business
development targets by cross selling bank products or referral of
business prospects to product teams and other business units (Personal Banking, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Asset Finance & Bancassurance) which translate into booked business within the assigned portfolio, assisting in preparation of banking/funding proposals (term sheets),preparation of industry papers and industry analysis.(10%)
